I found our today's guest on Instagram and I was so amazed by her that she really caught my attention because she is just everything about being rebellious, self-love, and all the feminine stuff. 

 

Emaan Abbass is the founder of Ketish and also a feminine and intimate health advocate. She is an Egyptian-American woman who grew up in the States and fell caught in between two worlds just trying to abide by her parents with somewhat strict cultural norms while just trying to be a young American Girl. She grew up in a really small country town, Hollister, California, it's south of the Bay Area. They were actually one of the only Egyptian families, one of the few Muslim families there growing up.

 

We talked more in this episode about the time in her childhood she often questioned the norms and became quite a rebellious curious young lady. She also shared what led to her passion and in creating her company, as well as, her diagnosis of cervical cancer.

On today’s episode, we’re going to talk about what’s causing your hormonal imbalances. Because I love helping women be educated in this area of life, I pursued getting certifications in gut health practitioner and the women's hormone practitioner as well. Hormone imbalances can have such a big effect on our health and well-being. It's not just one thing that causes our hormones to be imbalanced. It's like a domino effect. So if you don't take care of one area of your life, it can really harm the other parts of your life as well.

 

“Always focus on the word discipline. You can be consistent but if you're not disciplined and doing it maybe at a certain time of the week, then it will likely not work through. So really give yourself a little bit of tough love in that one. Use your masculine energy when it comes to your movement and getting your movements done. It doesn't have to be something so crazy and that your body's just like, Okay, we can't do this anymore. If you want to change a habit, make sure you're just starting it with habit stacking because if you remove a habit, your body's going to be like Nope, we're going to go back to that because that was comfortable for us.” – Naz Grimley

This episode is really important to me because I will be sharing about the tool I've used for myself during my healing journey for the last 10 year. I've also been using this tool for my clients as well. I have been doing this since I was in the Philippines. I have had a lot of notebooks for my journals. “I started writing my desires. I remembered I wrote, I decided to try different kinds of movements, not just lifting and going to the gym and bodybuilding style. I wanted to do different kinds of moves, I wanted to dance, I wanted to do yoga, I wanted to do Pilates. I want to learn more about my body. I want to eat food that is tasty. I want to learn about my hormones. I want to learn how to love myself again. I want to learn how to feel sexy again without waiting for validation. Those were the things I wrote in my journal.”

I am so grateful for the time our guest, Maria De Luna, indulged us in this episode. We have my amazing friend Maria, who has been supporting me in manifesting things in my life and in my business. 

 

Maria De Luna is an aligned purpose light worker, an ancestral witch and spiritual activator. Working with all awakened souls looking to move into their purpose and with an understanding of ancient magic, she used all her modalities to connect her to her ancestors and to assist those looking to come into their sole purpose and understand the quantum movements inside of them helping over 100 plus clients all over the world. 

 

Maria taps into the movement of spiritual alignment, body consciousness and mindful understanding of oneself and a deep connection to the inner child every day. Maria also conducts retreats, events and workshops both in person and online wherever she may be. She travels about three to five times a year with her partner now and usually with their really cute, giant furbaby. She enjoys soulful conversations with people while spending time exploring her town, along with exploration, a connection to Mother Earth by crafting her beautiful energy jars to help shift energy. 

 

She also shared in this episode about how she manifested her dream man, what manifestation truly means to her and finding tuning of yourself by connecting deeper into yourself to be authentic.

But you also have to work towards it. You can't just be like, here you go, and then sit at home. And then we look at computers and be like, Oh, I wish I had that.
