In Episode 83 of TAOT we recorded a discussion in regards to our Instagram social media poll whereupon 77% of people said they could not achieve a full bodyweight squat without pain or limitation. This episode is an attempt to explain what that means for your own body. What does it mean for things that have nothing to do with the squat? How you can improve this? And why achieving a full squat is important regardless if you train the squat or not.
Enjoy and Happy Holidays!

On Episode 82 of TAOT, we are very fortunate to be speaking with Kyle Dobbs of Compound Performance. Kyle has a long history of working within the gym atmosphere on an admin as well as training side of things. It is our strong opinion that he is one of the most thoughtful, educated, and pragmatic trainers in the exercise/performance/rehab space today! We hope you enjoy this episode!
Please be sure to check out the Compound Performance webpage as well as Kyle's social media to get an idea of the quality of content he is putting out. Kyle also hosts events to educate trainers deeper in their thinking and programming!

On Episode 78 of The Anatomy of Therapy we discuss the SQUAT. More specifically we discuss the reasons for losing the ability to squat (deep), why it even matters to be able to squat, and lastly how you can go about fixing you squat problems!
We breakdown which muscles and joints contribute to a healthy or poor squat outcome and throw down a simple Squat Challenge at the end of the episode that we assume most people still might be afraid to commit on. We ask you try it and share it with us on social media!
Enjoy!
