(00:00-21:18) Andrew is back in the big chair covering for Anthony after a one day hiatus.  The Phillies take a big series from the Braves after their 7-2 win last night.  Andrew wants to know how you feel about the Phillies.  Is it safe to take them serious or are we kidding ourselves? What do they need to do to make a serious playoff push?

(21:23-57:47) Tom plays cuts from Jayson Starks interview on The Afternoon Show.  Andrew hasn’t heard them before.  The audio talks about who the Phillies could be targeting at the trade deadline, who they won’t be going after and what type of player they will be trying to acquire.  Andrew and Tom are confused at many of the answers.  They are more confused about why the Phillies wouldn’t be in the market for certain names. Tom also introduces a Twitter poll, if the Phillies don’t make a noteworthy move before the deadline, are you out on the season? Your choices are ‘No-Still a Good Team’, ‘Yes-Must Make Team Better’, and ‘Already Out’.  The early leader is ‘No-Still a Good Team’.

(57:48-1:08:59) On Morning Thoughts, Andrew talks about lottery office pools.  There is one going on at the station and he asks a question.  If your office, business, etc. won but you didn’t contribute, do you quit because of shame and embarrassment?  Tom’s morning thought is Mike Trout’s rare back injury.  Are we seeing the decline of Mike Trout?

(1:09:03-2:37:12) Andrew heads to the phones and also talks about the Phillies upcoming schedule.  What kind of record can the Phillies have given that they have a fairly schedule?  They have 11 more games with the Nationals as well as some other bottom feeders.  Andrew wants to give away Fan Fest tickets.  He is asking you to call in and let us know a time you have maybe over complained about something sports related.  For example, the complaints about Nick Sirianni’s shirts are overdone; the complaints about Ryan Howard were sometimes too much.  What are your thoughts?  Tom and Andrew also re-visit the Jayson Stark cuts with some added content.
