In this episode, Juliet and Clinton answer the following questions: 1) How to write a compelling personal profile for a website and social media? 2) How to find a niche? And 3) When should one start renting office space when starting out?
In this episode we answered the following questions:
1. “How do you write a compelling personal profile for your website and social media? We're starting a new couples counseling practice early next year and are trying to write our profiles for the website and other social media sites but everything comes out either too impersonal or too cheesy! What should we be writing about to attract and engage new clients?”
2. “Hello there. I'm a psychotherapist (a generalist). I need to niche down and offer something rocking for someone in particular. I am truly stumped, in fact, in tears of trauma trying to figure it out. B2B is all over the place and so much easier. B2C is feeling nightmarish. Who to, what, who can afford it etc. Any help with niche for therapists moving into the current needs to specialise would be AWESOME!”
3. “I wonder if you could help me. I am building my private practice. I am just waiting to get an approval from the college that regulates psychotherapists in Ontario, Canada, where I live. I have my website and business cards ready, and I am focusing now on my blog and social media, just waiting to be able to work as a registered psychotherapist.
In the meanwhile, I am stressed about deciding on renting and office now or wait until my registration is ready (not sure yet when the college will approve my application) I have been looking for some office spaces, but not sure when to start renting. My fear is that I might find clients and not having a space or having a space but not having clients yet. Any suggestion or advice is great appreciated. Thank you!”
