This week's astrology of March 11th - 17th involves Venus moving into the sign of Pisces on Monday 3/11. Venus will be in this sign of healing, connection thru empathy, compassion, and exploring unconscious patterns from March 11th through April 4th. Venus is Pisces is about connecting in our relationships via a healing function while also holding space for ambiguity in the process. There is also a First Quarter Moon in Gemini on Saturday 3/16 to symbolize moving forward into our ambitions based on new initiatives that began around the New Moon in Pisces on Sunday 3/10. Finally, the Sun in Pisces will conjunct Neptune in Pisces on Sunday 3/17. We will be experiencing this transit all week via heightened extrasensory perceptions, intuitions, and opportunities to connect with flow states. This week emphasizes our capacity for experiencing paradox, indecision, and cultivating a flexible way of being. Be gentle with yourself this week and find ways to get into a flow state of being as much as you can: play, create, listen to good music, dance, question your reality, plan a ritual, meditate, practice mindfulness, do a spiritual practice, visit sacred spaces, connect with the elements of nature, or do anything else that connects you into your self and the divine. This can bring divine revelation and intuitive insights as well as confusion about practical matters. We become more clear and decisive this weekend and in the month ahead when Mercury moves into Aries on Saturday, March 9th. An element of frustration and angst is possible with Mars in Aquarius square Uranus in Taurus. And finally, the culmination of this week is a New Moon in Pisces on Sunday, March 10th at 2am Pacific Time, at 20 degrees of Pisces. This New Moon asks us to be open, flexible in our mindset, and to connect with something beyond our mundane existence. This New Moon is joined by Neptune and Saturn in Pisces, which may bring up themes of wanting to be in the flow of life, surrender, faith (Neptune); and how those experiences support or conflict with the limitations and structure of life (Saturn). This coincides with the Sun making a conjunction with Pluto in Capricorn before both Pluto and the Sun move into Aquarius. These transits signal new awareness and consciousness (Sun) of situations or behaviors that have been hidden or unconscious (Pluto), especially themes around power, control, security, or tradition (Capricorn). This is a pivotal time for bringing healing and closure to situations that came up while Pluto had it's very long stay in Capricorn from 2008 - 2024. Venus in Sagittarius square Neptune in Pisces brings some ambiguous yet helpful healing possibilities to this week as well.
