Full Hour | In today’s second hour, Dom welcomes in David Silver of Operation Yellow Ribbon, a South Jersey organization that gathers and sends care packages to troops serving overseas. Silver explains the purpose of the organization, telling how he and others love offering troops a long distance hug from the Philadelphia region. Dom and David go through what David does for the troops, telling listeners how they can donate items such as Girl Scout cookies and toiletries for the care packages sent overseas into active warzones. Also, Silver tells that anybody who knows somebody in active duty can request a care package, and sends listeners to his website, OperationYellowRibbon.org.
Then, Dom spends the majority of the hour discussing the Chinese ‘weather’ balloon hovering over the central portion of the United States, asking listeners whether the United States should shoot down the balloon, explaining why he believes this is just another example of the weakness of the Biden administration. Then, Dom and Dan discuss a WHYY column about the Driving Equity Law, with Dan explaining how he believes the law was a contributor in the carjacking crisis in the City.
