In the 2nd hour, I will be joined by the pitmaster of Big Poppa Smokers, Sterling Ball. The 2019 version of the "Smithfield Guinea Pig" contest took place this past weekend. We will go over how the event unfolded and what he has planned from a competition stand point in 2019.

Closing the show tonight (maybe) is the guy who gave me my first "live show" break 11 years ago. Sam Hasson, Founder/CEO/President of LA Talk Radio and host of "Sam in The Morning", joins me to take a look back at the past decade. We will talk about how we first linked up, how we made the tech work from Cleveland to Los Angeles and how both of our enterprises have grown and evolved over the years. This is not a live-fire segment but it will give you a lot of history on the show and where it came from.

The 3rd Tuesday of the month brings a visit from 2015 BBQ Hall of Fame'er and on of the (if not theee) most prolific live-fire cookbook author Steven Raichlen. Tonight we cover the lead up to shooting season 2 of project fire, where the "Brisket Chronicles" progress currently lies and what you can expect from the 2019 version of BBQ University.

After Steven, the OTHER 3rd Tuesday of the month guest, Robyn "Grill Girl" Lindars joins me. We will take a look back at her SCA event results from a few weeks back. What did she end up doing for rub, what changes will she make for the next event and when will that actually be? We will also cover her 3rd place Bloody Mary finish at the same event...and I will take her to task on this "over the top" Bloody Mary fascination!
