I’m having sooooo much fun with my family! But, once again, I’m blown away by the differences between Colorado and Michigan’s mental health care.
We should all be uniting together to make the world a better place! I truly don’t understand and this is part of what I discuss on today’s episode of The Be Ruthless Show.
I also share some family funnies and just wait until you hear about my arm
So many people in this world are suffering, whether it’s physical pain, a major transition, or even a loss. What do these things all have in common?
They’re invisible.
We need to talk more about healing, and you know I’m all about natural healing methods. Today’s guest on The Be Ruthless Show, Catherine
Gagnon, is an Emotional Alchemist Mind-Body Healing Practitioner and Master NLP Transformational Health Coach who works with people who
are tired of being tired and worried.
She can hear, see and feel the emotional and physical "energy leaks" in people and Catherine helps them "plug" these leaks. As a result, her
clients regain sustained physical/emotional energy, recover faster from illnesses, attain mental clarity, self-confidence, feel more at peace with
themselves and are happier in their relationships.
Catherine is a hang glider pilot certified as an applied neurosciences practitioner and also holds a Nurse Practitioner diploma!
She's currently pursuing a doctorate in Natural Medicine and studying the Ancient Wisdom of Siddha Veda that stems from Ayurvedic medicine.

19 year old Tik Tok Star Cooper Noriega was found deceased in his car on Friday, hours after posting about dying young.
This in the same week that Jack and Kristina Wagner’s son, Harrison (27 years old) was found deceased in his car after posting "Focus. YOU are left with YOU and your thoughts."
It was reported yesterday that Harrison lost his battle with addiction, while the cause of death for Cooper has not yet been determined (or announced).
On today's episode of The Be Ruthless Show, I discuss how scarily similar these two situations are and why I’m so concerned.

I’m so honored to have Jay Shifman on The Be Ruthless Show today. Jay is a passionate soul making noise maker who is breaking stigmas by sharing his own story.
Jay Shifman is an open book. A vulnerable storyteller and stigma-destroying speaker, podcaster, and event host, Jay’s story of struggle is familiar to the millions of people the world over who also struggle with issues of mental health, substance misuse, and addiction. The survivor of two suicide attempts and an overdose and now in long-term recovery, it is Jay’s mission to encourage difficult conversations and honest education concerning these and similar struggles.
Jay founded his company, Choose Your Struggle, in 2015 with two distinct goals: ending stigma and promoting honest and fact-based education around the topics of Mental Health, Substance Misuse & Recovery, and Drug Use & Policy. Looking to make these conversations even more accessible, Jay launched the Choose Your Struggle podcast in early 2020. In Spring, 2022, Choose Your Struggle dropped Made It, Season 1: Stay Savage, a serial-style podcast documentary on Sarah Laurel and the Philadelphia Harm Reduction organization Savage Sisters.
A fervent believer in radical honesty and the simple fact that neither struggle nor recovery should be treated as a one-size fits all experience, Jay uses his voice, and his platforms to educate, entertain, and empower.
Holding a BA in Psychology from Northern Kentucky University and with over a decade of lived and professional experience in the field, Jay has put in numerous hours of independent learning acquiring certifications in mental health, substance misuse and addiction, and drug policy. He lives in Philadelphia with his wife, Lauren, and their dog, Nell.

I know there are dishonest people in the world - but this latest story disgusts me at my core.
On today’s episode of The Be Ruthless Show, I discuss a company that specifically takes advantage of people who have experienced a loss. As if the loss itself isn’t enough!
It’s a must listen - because in this world, we all need to know and be prepared.

The country went through a lot last week, and it’s important to not only acknowledge that but to deal with it. We live in a world that focuses more on moving on than it does on discussing how we feel.
And people have been traumatized. That’s not something you can just move on from. So on today’s episode of The Be Ruthless Show, I discuss how we can all be more supportive of each other’s feelings.
I discuss the different reactions you might see, as well as what to do when you see them. It’s an episode that everyone needs to hear.

So many people are walking around with pain, whether it’s physical pain, emotional pain, or both. The world focuses on pushing through rather than pausing and addressing the issue.
On today’s episode of The Be Ruthless Show, I speak with Simone Fortier who is known for her deep intuitive understanding of the root cause of pain coupled with her vast knowledge of human anatomy and the lymphatic, cranial, and trigger point systems.
We discuss the relationship between the brain and pain. This is an episode you can’t miss. Tune in here: and see below for the link to the assessment we discuss!
More About Simone:
A highly regarded lecturer, teacher, and innovative fascia therapist, Simone is also the author of two books: How to Beat Brain Burps (an exercise-based way for children to ignite all facets of their brain for streamlined learning) and Gaining Control Over Pain which contains eleven secret healing therapies that patients can practice in their own time.
Simone sees the bigger picture works backwards. Knowing that treating the symptom of a problem will lead to continuous treatments without resolution, she teaches to get to the root cause of the problem to create permanent change. Sought after in the four corners of the world, Simone's mission has always been to help people. Now, with her expertise in high demand, she travels the world to share her knowledge with Health Practitioners and Advanced strength Coaches so that their clients and athletes will have access to true fascia therapy and the ability to find real brain boosting and pain healing solutions in their own locations.

The gunman in the recent mass shooting in Buffalo was evaluated in the past - and admittedly told professionals what they wanted to hear. He mocked that his evaluation lasted all of 15-20 minutes.
We can do better. As professionals but also as people. It’s our responsibility. Lives are at stake.
On today’s episode of The Be Ruthless Show, I discuss HOW we can do better - as parents, as professionals, as people. I discuss the significance of creating a safe space, as well as the significance of enlisting a strong team
