International break done and its back to business - with Brentford looking to break a run of four successive defeats. Billy The Bee Grant (@Billythebee99) and Dave Laney Lane (@Beesotted100) got together in the virtual joint with a rather sombre edition of the Beesotted Pride of West London podcast. 
 
In this show they paid tribute to long-term Brentford fans Adrian Beckles who died suddenly this week. Plus Betty from the Griffin and Ali who were both stabbed outside a pub in Brentford - Ali very sadly losing his life. 

They had a look back to the Norwich game with Will Allsopp giving the statistical lowdown - deducing that the Bees were in fact very unlucky against Norwich despite being under-par

Jonathan JB Burchill gives us a whole new set of facts and funk ... plus after the #HerGameToo podcast last week which discussed women in football and making the game a more comfortable space for females, they reeled off a load of JB Brentford-related Womens facts
They looked ahead to the trip to Newcastle with 3,000 Bees making the journey up North.

In Part One of our special #HerGameToo podcast we asked what can we do to try and stamp sexism out of the football? 
A recent Football Supporters Association survey revealed that one in five women suffer unwanted physical attention at football matches. Nearly half the women surveyed were told they knew a lot about football ‘for a woman’. And the survey noted that less than one in twenty women would accept sexism as part of the matchday experience as opposed to over twice as many six years ago. 
Caz May (@CazJMay) and Vic Wood (@Victoria1867) from Her Game Too  and Ali Mullalley (@alimullaley) from the Beesotted podcast discussed with Billy Grant  (@Billythebee99)  their views on how we can stamp out sexism in football whilst also educating and advising on how to create welcome spaces for women in and around football matches. 
Clare, Nevaeh, Natalie, Ann, Becka, Holly and Sam share their experiences of being a women in and around football. 
Plus Sally Stephens - Brentford’s Fan and Community Engagement Director - sheds some light on how Brentford have been tackling diversity - creating an environment to make women feel more comfortable at games. What can we do to try and stamp sexism out of the football? 
Football should be a game for all. But is it really at the moment?

A recent Football Supporters Association survey revealed that one in five women suffer unwanted physical attention at football matches. Nearly half the women surveyed were told they knew a lot about football ‘for a woman’. And the survey noted that less than one in twenty women would accept sexism as part of the matchday experience as opposed to over twice as many six years ago. 
We thought we would use the international break to good effect and stop talking about injuries and getting back on the winning trail and discuss an incredibly important subject which is very close to many football hearts. 
Beesotted invited Caz May (@CazJMay) and Vic Wood (@Victoria1867) from Her Game Too on the show this week to discuss their campaign - aimed at stamping sexism out of football. The whilst also educating and advising on how to create welcome spaces for women in and around football matches.

They were joined in the virtual joint by Ali Mullalley (@alimullaley) from the Beesotted podcast.

The girls spoke to Billy Grant  (@Billythebee99) on their experiences of being a female in and around the world of football. 
Online abuse. How they had been subject to attacks on social media and thoughts on what could be done to stem it
 
 What have football clubs done to support the campaign and create safe, comfortable spaces for women at their matches?
Females who are not as supportive of the campaign as they would have liked. What can they do to garner their support?

Brentford were desperate to break a losing run of three matches with the visit of winless Norwich City to New Griffin Park

And with two goals under their belt so far this season, maybe Brentford underestimated their opposition who found themselves two goals to the good within the first half hour

Another three points down the pan as Bees start to look down as opposed to up the table
