Brentford have reached the quarter-final match of the League Cup for the first time in their history. And they face Premier League Newcastle at New Griffin Park - a match where unfortunately no fans will be allowed to attend due to the new lockdown rules
The Beesotted crew - Billy TheBee Grant, Dave Laney Lane and Jimmy Mack - hooked up in the virtual joint to chew the fat over the forthcoming cup fixture.

A good week for Brentford saw them pick up four points from a possible six against Watford and Forest.

But it was improvement on the pitch which was most pleasing

Due to lockdown restrictions, it was back to the virtual joint - now firmly in tier 3 - for Billy The Bee Grant, Liberal Nick & Savvy Bee Kyriacou

The Bees first visit to Vicarage Rd since 2014 at the match was not without incident. Two penalties, a red car, a few dodgy refereeing decisions including mistaken identity for a red card, a goal given offside and a missed penalty decision

In the end the match ended even stevens with Ivan Toney notching his 16th goal of the season

Brentford went to the City Ground looking to continue their excellent away form

And after Dalsgaard scored an early goal, Brentford looked like they would run away with the match

But Forest came back strong. And had a goal chalked off and a disputed penalty call

But it was two more fairly late goals from Brentford that sealed it with Forest scoring a consolation and Knockeart seeing after red after cheating

Two matches against teams a mere 17 miles apart in three days for Brentford as they entertained Wayne Rooney’s Derby County at New Griffin Park in front of 2000 fans. Whilst preparing for a trip up the M1 to visit Nottingham Forest’s City ground at the weekend
Sandwiched in-between the two matches, Beesotted were awarded - virtually once again - silver place in the Football Content Awards Best EFL Podcast category

Derby County come to Brentford with their first win in eight against Millwall on Saturday - their first win under caretaker manager Wayne Rooney.

Finally. A touch of excitement in what has been a horrible horrible year. Brentford fans are looking forward to finally seeing their team LIVE for the first time this season. And more importantly, the first time at New Griffin Park. 
A very excited Beesotted crew of Billy ‘TheBee’ Grant, Dave ‘Laney’ Lane and Ali ‘goals means wins’ Mullalley met up in The Globe pub on the first day after lockdown ended to discuss - well anything. It didn’t really matter. They were just happy to be out to be honest.
