After securing a point at Birmingham in the wake of storm Dennis, Billy Grant joined George Riley in the Lovesport Studio to discuss the match at the weekend including views from the fans on the St Andrews terraces and Brentford Head Coach Thomas Frank.

Plus Beesotted – representing Brentford – was joined by bloggers, sloggers and podcasters from the current Top Six clubs in The Championship to discuss the promotion race.

West Brom fan Connor from West Brom gave the Baggies 9/10 – confident after the blip and feels that the team to challenge West Brom at the top of the tree is more likely to be Brentford.

Leeds fan Ryan (7.5/10) was concerned about Leeds’ finishing but confident they would make it one the line.

Fulham fan Farrell (7/10) had a number of concerns going into the back end of the season. One of them being Fulham’s potential playoff final opponents.

Brentford fan Billy (8/10) was just happy to be there. With a shout of the automatics. And a season very much alive still inFebruary.

Forest fan Scott (8/10) is delighted. But a trifle concerned with the run-in.

PNE fan Ryan (9/10) is delighted how Preston have upset teams up and down the league and cites the match at Brentford on Gentry Day – the biggest away day of Preston’s year – as the clincher.

Brentford came away from St Andrews with a hard fought, but well deserved,  point under their arms having surviving the swirling wind and bouncing back from going a goal behind. Storm Dennis wasn’t as bad as everyone thought, and the Blues weren’t as good as predicted either, however, the visitors did enough to win in all honesty. It’s the day after the Lord Mayor’s show. Leeds are back up in Yorkshire after an evening of pinging the ball around out in West London with only a point to show for it.
 
Meanwhile Brentford are sitting back thinking “That was a point we would have not picked up last season”.

Brentford bounced back from the Forest defeat in impressive style... smashing Hull for five with Said Benrahma notching an emotional hat-trick which he dedicated to his father, who sadly recently passed away. In truth, the scoreline could have been even more impressive, as the rampant Bees  attacked in waves. David Raya's blunder aside, Hull rarely threatened, however, it is Said who is grabbing the headlines today... as he did the match ball at the end of the game.
