October 2018. Just days after Dean Smith left Brentford for Aston Villa, the Bees announced that his assistant Thomas Frank would take over as Head Coach.

Just 24 hours after the announcement, the Beesotted crew jumped into the virtual boozer to pick apart the decision

Was Frank the right man? Why had Brentford promoted from within? What would change? And where did his appointment leave a club that had already been through huge change since Mark Warburton departed in 2015?

Brentford went ahead at Elland Road with a Neal Maupay penalty but were unable to hold on as Leeds equalised with a lofted header from Pontus Jansson.

Leeds are next up for Brentford after a fairly unfruitful couple of weeks which has seen Brentford lose ground on the front-runners in this division - not winning in 5 matches now.
