Brentford fans had mixed emotions after the final whistle at Villa Park on Wednesday evening – for much of the game the Bees fans would have gladly settled for a point, however, after hanging on in there for much of the game, Neil Maupay's second goal on the night, then several guild edged chances that followed, meant Dean Smith's side could have emerged the victors.
