In this episode of the Treasury Career Corner podcast, Mark Kirkland, the Group Treasurer at Constellium, joins to talk about diversity in your career and much more.

As Group Treasurer, Mark is responsible for Financial Risk Management, Cash Management, Corporate Finance, Credit Management, and Insurance.  

Constellium is a global leader in the development and manufacturing of high-value-added aluminium products and solutions. They design and manufacture advanced alloys and engineered solutions for a range of applications, such as cars, beverage cans, airplanes, and more.

Prior to joining Constellium, Mark served as the Group Treasurer and Head of Structured Finance of Bombardier Transportation in Switzerland. Before that, he was Head of Financial Risk and Cash Services with Philips Electronics in the Netherlands, reporting to the Group Treasurer.

Before entering corporate life, Mark worked for nine years at Merrill Lynch in several roles including, derivative structuring, building derivative models, and commodity sales.

Dr. Kirkland received his Ph.D in Stochastic Simulation and has an honours degree in Mathematics, both from the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, Scotland.
