The Berwyn Mountain UFO Incident | Paranormal Podcast

This episode we dove into one of the UK's most compelling and frustrating UFO cases — the Berwin Mountains Incident of January 23rd, 1974 — where an entire Welsh village experienced violent earth-shaking, saw a massive pulsating reddish-orange orb hovering above the mountaintops, and then watched the evidence get buried, debunked, and dismissed for the next four decades while the people who tried to prove it happened took hit after hit.

We followed the journey of dedicated ufologist Margaret Fry, whose own close encounter in 1955 set her on a lifelong mission to make the world believe, and the nurse Pat Evans who drove toward the mountain that night to help potential crash victims and came back with a story so credible her entire village vouched for her word.

We got into the town halls, the anonymous letters, the shadowy neo-Nazi alien group with a cassette tape, the retired military officer with a fake name who claimed to have seen dead Roswell-style aliens in coffin boxes, the TV documentary that cut out the believers and handed the mic to the debunker, and the genuinely cruel joke that cost Margaret years of her life and a significant chunk of her credibility.
