Reese, Kmac, Pam and Alex discuss Draymond Green's comments about Dak Prescott, the Panthers' recent success, the passing of Marshawn Kneeland and more.
During an episode of Draymond Green's podcast, “Why Is Draymond Green Talking About Football?” Green called Dak Prescott a bum. Green said: “He’s a bum … When it’s for all the marbles, who are you? He a bum.” Draymond clarified he wasn’t denying Prescott is a good NFL quarterback, but he believed Prescott hasn’t shown up when it matters most. Shortly afterward, Green apologized for the specific wording, saying Prescott “is definitely not a bum,” but maintained his critique that Prescott has not delivered in the biggest moments. Reese, Pam and Alex discuss UNC Homecoming, the Broncos win over the Raiders and more.
The Denver Broncos defeated the Las Vegas Raiders 10-7 on Thursday night Football last night in a low-scoring game. With the win, Denver improved to 8-2 on the season and extended its winning streak to seven games, while the Raiders dropped to 2-7.
Offensively, both teams struggled to find rhythm. Broncos rookie quarterback Bo Nix completed 16 of 28 passes for 150 yards, throwing one touchdown and two interceptions. Geno Smith managed just 143 yards passing with one interception and suffered a quad injury late in the fourth quarter. Despite the loss, the Raiders’ defense kept the game close throughout. The victory strengthened Denver’s recent dominance in the historic Broncos-Raiders rivalry, though concerns remain about the Broncos’ offensive inconsistency as they prepare for tougher opponents ahead. Are the Broncos legit? Can the Raiders fix their problems?
