The Arizona Cardinals defeated the Dallas Cowboys 27-17 last night on Monday Night Football, snapping a five-game losing streak and improving their record to 3-5, while the Cowboys fell to 3-5-1. With Kyler Murray sidelined, veteran quarterback Jacoby Brissett stepped up for Arizona, throwing for 261 yards and two touchdowns while adding a rushing score.
For Dallas, Dak Prescott completed 24 of 39 passes for roughly 250 yards with one touchdown and one interception, but the Cowboys’ offense was held to just 10 offensive points. The Cowboys’ only major highlight came on special teams, when they blocked a punt and returned it for a touchdown. Despite that spark, defensive lapses and offensive inefficiency proved costly.
The win was a big morale boost for the Cardinals, showing they could compete even without their starting quarterback. For the Cowboys, however, the loss heavily threatened their playoff hopes as the season moves into its second half.
Reese, Kmac, Pam, and Alex discuss whether NC State’s impressive win over Georgia Tech is enough to be satisfied with or if the team should aim higher.
The NC State Wolfpack had an impressive showing this weekend, defeating the No. 8-ranked Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets 48-36 in a high-scoring upset victory. The win marked one of NC State’s most complete performances of the season, as the offense clicked from start to finish. Quarterback CJ Bailey led the way with an efficient passing display, throwing for multiple touchdowns while spreading the ball around to several receivers. The Wolfpack’s rushing attack also found success, consistently moving the chains and keeping Georgia Tech’s defense on its heels.
With the victory, NC State not only handed Georgia Tech its first loss of the season but also bolstered its own bowl hopes and made a strong statement heading into the final stretch of ACC play. NC State is now 5-4 and sits in 8th place in the ACC. The Wolfpack has not won the ACC in decades. Is this good enough for NC State or should they want more?
Reese, Kmac, Pam and Alex discuss their Good Looks and Bad Looks on this Good Look Monday.
The Washington Commanders suffered a tough 38-14 loss to the Seattle Seahawks last night. Quarterback Jayden Daniels returned to the lineup after missing a game and completed 16 of 22 passes for 153 yards with one interception. He also added 51 rushing yards and scored a touchdown, providing one of the few bright spots for Washington’s offense. Unfortunately, Daniels’ night ended early when he dislocated his left elbow while being sacked by linebacker Drake Thomas with just over seven minutes remaining in the fourth quarter. The defeat marked the Commanders’ fourth straight loss, dropping them to 3-6 on the season. Has Kmac given up on his Commanders? Did Commanders head coach Dan Quinn make a mistake leaving Jayden Daniels in the game?

The Los Angeles Dodgers won the 2025 World Series, capturing their second consecutive championship. They defeated the Toronto Blue Jays in a thrilling seven-game series that went down to the wire. Game 7, held at Dodger Stadium, was an instant classic as the Dodgers pulled out a 5-4 victory in 11 innings thanks to a dramatic go-ahead home run by Will Smith. The win made the Dodgers the first team in 25 years to repeat as World Series champions, a feat last accomplished by the late-1990s Yankees. Stars Shohei Ohtani and Yoshinobu Yamamoto played key roles throughout the series, with Ohtani’s bat anchoring the offense and Yamamoto delivering clutch pitching performances that energized both the home crowd and fans across Japan. With this back-to-back championship, the Dodgers have solidified their status as the dominant force in baseball. Can the Dodgers be stopped? Did you watch the World series?

The NC State Wolfpack have not had the best season in football this year as they currently sit 13th in the ACC with a 4-4 record overall and a conference record of 1-3. Why has The Pack been so disappointing this season? Will Dave Doeren be there next season?
Reese, Kmac, Pam and Alex discuss the NBA.
There are only 4 undefeated teams left in the NBA this season. We know the defending champion Oklahoma City Thunder are the real deal and we believe the Victor Wembanayama-led San Antonio Spurs are legit. So, of the other two undefeated teams, which undefeated NBA team is for real: Chicago Bulls or Philadelphia 76ers?
Dallas Maverick forward Anthony Davis is hurt with bilateral tendinopathy. Will this be a longterm problem? What else is going on in the NBA?
Last night in the NFL, the Baltimore Ravens dominated the Miami Dolphins, winning 28-6 last night on Thursday Night Football. Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson made a strong return after missing the previous 3 games, throwing four touchdown passes and leading Baltimore’s offense. The Dolphins struggled throughout the game, repeatedly reaching inside the Ravens’ 35-yard line but failing to capitalize, coming away with no touchdowns due to poor red-zone execution and costly turnovers. Wil Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel be there next season? Will he even last to the end of this season?
