Cattledog! With Joe being recalled into the starting BDA squad, the lads rank their heroes and villains of State of Origin Game One and review all of the action from Wednesday evening. We also look forward to the next round of the NRL and preliminary picks (and/or sticks) for Game Two.

The lads run the ruler over the NSW and Queensland squads for Origin 1. With Joe off for a head injury assessment, Adrian and Chris are joined by two impact players off the bench. Souths loving Calli (of the Double Movement podcast) joins us along with token Queenslander, Steve. The team also cast a learned eye over NRL Round 12 and the upcoming round. The crew review all the NRL round 11 action, including the Curtis v Walker/Korosau bout (the biggest since Macgregor vs Mayweather and Gallen vs Myles' forehead), DCE's furious debating, unanimous frothing at Kayln Ponga's efforts against the Titans and Rossdog being sent back to puppy obedience school. The lads also lay out their preferred Origin 1 selections for both squads.

With NRL's Indigenous Round next week, the crew discuss their favourite indigenous players and their feats. The lads also conduct an honest toiler's review of NRL Round 9, including Joe and Adrian's dissection of the Bird Bowl and Chris and Joe's attempts at a James Graham accent. The BDA Bunker (via Adrian's new found video replay skills) considers the controversial 'knock on' and other calls in the Broncos v Dogs game.

Joe and Chris tackle Round 7 of the NRL without Adrian, who is off investigating Jake Friend's phantomesque absence from the Roosters. The lads discuss the startling Boardroom-like spill of the Sea Eagles and the maybe resurgence of the Eels, along with all the other action: Inglis half goannas, wily Foxes and whether Lattrell is a born and raised New South Welshman. We also look forward to the ANZAC round starting Wednesday.

Returning to the Podderdome after several weeks of sabbatical, Joe, Chris and Adrian take rugby league chat to the max again. We drive down fury road in a scathing assessment of Manly's mauling from the Tigers, question whether they need another hero up in North Queensland, and discuss whether the Dragons will be road warriors in our Round 7 preview.  BDA back on the airwaves? Simply the best.
