This week Jim becomes obsessed with a Chicken Connoseur, Elton goes to mars, Darren gets into Gotham and Lee discovers some electrical shenanigans around his house. The gang then aim to misbehave as they get on their sci fi horses and head into The Black aboard the Serenity

This week the guys are joined by Andy Poulastides as they discuss empty military warehouses, texts as servant bells, the inane TV that is Dancing on Ice and Jim has an announcement. Then after everyone has gathered themselves its time to dive in on Dr Strangelove and try desperately not to imagine this satire as actual footage from the news

Welcome to the first cast of the year (and a long one too be warned)
We catch up with the guys and their festivities and then with the aid of listeners in the live recording chat room we review our best films and worst films of 2017.

Its the last black dog of 2017 - Jim gets the packing tape out and talks about panto dinosaurs, Elton gets trapped in a library, Lee sings unusual xmas songs and Darren bemoans work catering facilities. Then we move on to our last film of the year Wallace & Gromit Curse of the Wererabbit. Merry christmas everyone and have a happy new year. This week Jim pays a pound for some top quality consumer advice, Elton does battle with south eastern trains and tries to resist the sirens call of Lego store London, Darren goes to a convention featuring a very grumpy starfleet captain and Lee changes a hard drive and goes for a drink. 

Which leads us to this weeks film, the Shane Black directed 70s Noir homage comedy action film The Nice Guys. 

Next week the cast will be on hiatus due to Lee's work commitments, but when they return for the last cast of 2017 on the 19th Dec, the guys will be doing battle with The Curse of the Wererabbit...
