Welcome to the first cast of the year (and a long one too be warned)
We catch up with the guys and their festivities and then with the aid of listeners in the live recording chat room we review our best films and worst films of 2017.

Its the last black dog of 2017 - Jim gets the packing tape out and talks about panto dinosaurs, Elton gets trapped in a library, Lee sings unusual xmas songs and Darren bemoans work catering facilities. Then we move on to our last film of the year Wallace & Gromit Curse of the Wererabbit. Merry christmas everyone and have a happy new year. We return with a 2017 review episode on 9th January see you then.

This week Jim pays a pound for some top quality consumer advice, Elton does battle with south eastern trains and tries to resist the sirens call of Lego store London, Darren goes to a convention featuring a very grumpy starfleet captain and Lee changes a hard drive and goes for a drink. 

Which leads us to this weeks film, the Shane Black directed 70s Noir homage comedy action film The Nice Guys. 

Next week the cast will be on hiatus due to Lee's work commitments, but when they return for the last cast of 2017 on the 19th Dec, the guys will be doing battle with The Curse of the Wererabbit...

Then we move on to our last film in this years indeterminate weeks of horror with the comedy schlocker b-movie homage Wolfcop.

Next week in a slight change to the schedule, due to film availability we will be reviewing the Bill Murray film directed by Harold Ramis, Groundhog Day.

This week we talk about losing teeth, blowing up various things (hair driers, drills and coats at airports) then we discuss the three hour edition of Salems Lot... Next week its time for Wolfcop
