The Blacksmith's Furnace

It's just two weeks to Christmas, and the Furnace just isn't feeling it yet.

In today's episode we talk about Christmas, whether or not we're believers in Christmas trees and Santa Claus and somehow end up talking about racism and how it affects us today.

There was an appropriate segue during the transition but your going to have to give it a listen to find out how one Earth we got from Christmas to racist in under 50 minutes.

We hope you enjoy the episode and if you do please let us know in the comments and let your friends know by sharing, and if you don't, please let us know in the comments and let your friends know by sharing.

We're big believers in the "win-win"

Take care and stay blessed.

Possibly one of the darkest episodes we've put out yet, tonight we talked about death and our relationship towards it.

We were graced with the presence of Jemilea Wisdom-Baako of Writerz n Scribez who in addition to bring some unique insights of her own, brought us back from the many tangents we took while discussing, the worst ways to die, whether or not we fear death, if we are organ donors and a whole host of other death related topics.

We hope you enjoy the episode and if you do please let us know in the comments and let your friends know by sharing, and if you don't, please let us know in the comments and let your friends know by sharing.

Today's episode is named after the would be title of the movie made about Bobby's life...

On today's episode we play question roulette again, since Mo couldn't make it and it was just Bobby and I.

As can be expected we cover a plethora of different topics and themes in the 30 seconds we have to respond to the question that gets shot.

It's fun and I'd even ask that you answer some of the questions yourself to see where you stand on some of the topics we talk about.

We hope you enjoy the episode and if you do please let us know in the comments and let your friends know by sharing, and if you don't, please let us know in the comments and let your friends know by sharing.

Robert, and his many woes, starts us off in today's episode with a little rant about why he doesn't eat salad!

Random? VERY! But have you come to expect anything less?

A more health focussed discusssion than usual, we talk about food, staying fit and whether or not we could be vegetarian.

Kevin (Jolade Olusanya) joined us for another fun session of The Blacksmith's Furnace.

We hope you enjoy the episode and if you do please let us know in the comments and let your friends know by sharing, and if you don't, please let us know in the comments and let your friends know by sharing.

So the Furnace is no E! News or Wendy Williams show, but as fans of hip hop and old school RnB I guess when new broke of Mary J Blige's (The undisputed Queen of RnB) divorce drama it organically became a part of the conversation.

We ended up talking about relationships, divorce, adultery, and even our thoughts on being a house husband.

Hopefully, Mary will get it all sorted and the bittersweet truth is it might even give her some good material for music.

We hope you enjoy the episode and if you do please let us know in the comments and let your friends know by sharing, and if you don't, please let us know in the comments and let your friends know by sharing.

It's Halloween tonight and thus today's episode was dedicated to all things terrifying and terrible.

Let's call it 'Fear Roulette' each member has to talk about one of their fears in turn and each round has to get scarier.

Let's just say it gets quite dark quite quickly!

But as always it stays fun as we honestly don't really let each other off easy for those things that scare us!

We hope you enjoy the episode and if you do please let us know in the comments and let your friends know by sharing, and if you don't, please let us know in the comments and let your friends know by sharing.

The Furnace is once more complete with Mo and our beloved Leia returning this week it was a welcome return to form.

Now if you ever wanted an episode that shows just how random the furnace can get this would be the one!

We started off talking about travel and our plans for travel, went on to talk about favourite or most desired places to live and where we definitely wouldn't and somehow ended up on our different preferences in worship artists.

I guess C'est la vie!!

We hope you enjoy the episode and if you do please let us know in the comments and let your friends know by sharing, and if you don't, please let us know in the comments and let your friends know by sharing.

It's always good to get a fresh perspective on things every now and then.

In today's episode of the furnace that is exactly what we did.

Today Robert and Pete (because Mo is still away trying to find greek babes for Robert)were joined by the lovely Marion to talk about halloween, the black lives matter movement, and black history month.

Talk about an education, it was a really informative conversation and as mentioned before, we all left it with a fresh perspective and hopefully so do you.

We hope you enjoy the episode and if you do please let us know in the comments and let your friends know by sharing, and if you don't, please let us know in the comments and let your friends know by sharing.

Mo's out on holiday this week, so with Just Rob and myself, we chose to play a game.

It's called After Dinner Arguments and basically gives a variety of topics which we then Debate.

We whizzed through quite a few so there's something to interest, and / or , offend everybody.

Though it did provide some rather thought provoking questions.

We hope you enjoy the episode and if you do please let us know in the comments and let your friends know by sharing, and if you don't, please let us know in the comments and let your friends know by sharing.

Quite unsurprisingly everyone on the furnace would classify themselves an introvert. So in a Church culture of "evangelism" and hyper "friendliness" how do we cope.

In today's episode we talk through how we get by given our similar temperaments and how God's plan is brought to fruition in our lives regardless.

We hope you enjoy the episode and if you do please let us know in the comments and let your friends know by sharing, and if you don't, please let us know in the comments and let your friends know by sharing.
