Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness....

You can probably finish off that verse off the top of your head, today on the Furnace we talk about the practicality of Matthew 6:33

What does it really mean to seek God's kingdom first, and what does that look like on a day to day basis.

Where we normally have our wits about us during the podcast, half way through recording we realised we couldn't use the file because of circumstances outside our control(Lil baby Leia was contributing a wee bit too much)

So tired, overfed and a little bit frustrated we started over and switched topics on the fly.

What we didn't realise was that combination is quite dangerous when you're actively trying not to talk yourself into trouble so in attempting to help Rob with his babe issues we had a very candid and unfiltered conversation about lust, love and life!!!

We hope you enjoy the episode and if you do please let us know in the comments and let your friends know by sharing, and if you don't, please let us know in the comments and let your friends know by sharing.

What does God's presence mean and look like to the furnace, today's topic was a good biblical look at what we understand as the presence of God in an increasingly godless society.

We were also privileged to be joined by a long term listener of the show and friend to Rob and now the Furnace, Ade, currently a student of our Alma matter Queen Mary University of London, Ade brought a fresh and new perspective to today's episode and some timely encouragement to keep the furnace burning bright.

You are warmly welcome back anytime sir!

The Furnace burns y'all, and today even hotter than usual, joined by the lovely Jemilea and a mystery guest!!! We talked about what the implications are of having so many different denominations in the body of Christ. We talk about where it stems from and what we believe the solutions would be.

And just so y'all know.. we go in!

Today's episode actually got corrupted so we're bring you today an unaired episode we recorded earlier on in the year.

We talked about the UK Gospel scene, Hip Hop, Christian Hip Hop and who our favourite rappers are.

If you ever wonder why we're not in any Christian Hip Hop videos today's episode is probably the reason why?

Also if you've ever wondered where Rob's infamous greeting came from, this episode was its birth!!!

We hope you enjoy the episode and if you do please let us know in the comments and let your friends know by sharing, and if you don't, please let us know in the comments and let your friends know by sharing.

This time we talked about time from the point of view of the One outside time.

You've heard it before,

God's delay is not His denial.

God's time is always best

Etc

All very true but but also all easier said than done.

So what do you do when God's time seems to be taking its sweet time?

Well join us for our take on the issue!

We hope you enjoy the episode and if you do please let us know in the comments and let your friends know by sharing, and if you don't, please let us know in the comments and let your friends know by sharing.

After showing up late for the second time in a row, seems Bobby A's conscience isn't letting him slide on today's episode of the podcast.

as the name suggests, It's About Time!

In this episode we had a conversation about Time, how we use it and we focus in on how much of our Time is spent on God.

We had a good time talking about time and ended with a few nuggets for our listeners.

We really appreciate you taking the time to give us a listen and hope you enjoyed your time listening to the episode

In his own words; "the beautiful black beast of the furnace has returned" and with him, Bobby A brings us a question with consequences of biblical proportion!

How can we trust our translation/interpretation of the Bible?

Probably one of our more difficult questions, we tell it as we see it and I think I can say on behalf of the furnace , we are all open to correction but we'll stand by our reasons why we think the Bible is the most significant, advanced, transcendent piece of literature to ever exist and why we trust it with our very lives.

On any given episode of the furnace, you're quite likely to hear Mo or Yours truly quoting or referring to something our guest has said before.

In the absence of Bobby A, who allegedly had various meetings slow him down, we are joined by Ayo a really good friend and listener of the Furnace.

With Ayo around we had two young relatively new father's and one engaged soon to be married fella and so we thought it would be a good chance to speak about the journey of becoming a Father and how it has affected the lives of Ayo and Mo and their families.

We talk about faith, education, and God as a father in today's episode and there are some real nuggets of wisdom to be gleaned from our conversation. I can at least say I'm taking alot away and I hope you do too.

We truly hope you enjoy the episode and if you do please let us know in the comments and let your friends know by sharing, and if you don't, please let us know in the comments and let your friends know by sharing.
