The Bogey Men

We rank the top 10 best golfers from movies ever, it includes an impressive list of Happy Gilmore, Tin Cup, Franic Ouimet from 'The Greatest Game Ever Played' and of course Shooter McGavin!

Let us know who you think is the greatest fictional golfer and what's your favourite golfing movie?

This is week 3 of our Bet Of The Week, watch and listen as Michael & Jonny put €5 on a bet on the DP World Tour Ras Al Kaimah Championship. We’ll track our progress throughout the entire season and update weekly

Something a little different today. Kenny Pallas, one of 4 co-founders of Scottish golf publication The Links Diary, sat down with Jonny to talk about why TLD is so much more than just a golf magazine.

Their ambition is to go deeper, and more thoughtful than your regular swing tips "read it once, then dump it" magazine. Everything about it is carefully crafted from the words on the page, to the stunning images which add another layer to the stories being to the actual paper this coffee table book is printed on, their attention to detail for me is unmatched.

Kenny spoke about how they felt golfers are generally being underserved by print golf media and so they set about doing something different. We hear stories about famous golf watering holes, members going out at the dead of night to re-design a hole they didn't like the look of, and plenty more.

We hope you enjoy this one.

The lads enjoy Rory's win in Dubai, Michael more so than Jonny because Michael backed Rory to win, but this has to be the perfect start to the season for Rory Mcilroy. Is this the start we hope will lead to Rory finally putting on that green jacket? Michael thinks this year is Rory's best chance with the golf world still somewhat fractured between the PGA Tour, LIV and the DP World Tour.

We have a number of big announcements coming over the next few weeks, first of which is the launch of our brand new website Thebogeymen.ie

Jon Rahm has defected and joined LIV golf, we talk about what we think this means for golf both for the players and the fans, but overall we don't feel good about it.

We have started our winter training programmes with Moss Landman from Capital Performance, we'll be training with Moss over the next 12 weeks to become fitter, stronger, faster golfers.

The lads react to Tiger Woods playing competitive golf again, why Scottie Scheffler is so vanilla, rolling back the golf ball isn't a bad thing and Luke Donald staying on as Ryder Cup captain for Bethpage in 2025.

Jonny & Mick played a match at Old Conna Golf Club, the videos from that match will be on our youtube channel soon!

Tiger Woods has committed to play in the Hero World Challenge at the end of December and it couldn't have come at a better time for golf with the completion of the DP World Tour season.

Jonny played Carton House with a bunch of PGA professionals and Jonny learned first hand that he is nowhere near their level. Jonny doesn't hit the ball far enough, isn't accurate enough and short game isn't near good enough to compete with those guys, but it was a great learning curve!

We also talk about Nicolai Hojgaard winning the DP World Tour Championship and Ludvig Aberg winning on the PGA Tour.

Our new Odyssey Ai-One putters arrived and the boys are very excited to put them to the test!
