The Bogey Men

This is our 150 episode of the podcast!

It has been a very busy week in the world of golf. We have a full recap of the Irish Amateur Championship with Garry from Irish Amateur Info.

Another friend of the pod, Ronan Mullarney claimed his maiden victory on the Alps Tour in Austria. Ronan has now moved to 2nd in the Alps Tour order of merit, so Ronan knows what he needs to do as top 5 at the end of the season earn Challenge Tour cards.

Jonny is back from the Jabra Ladies Open on the LET where he recorded some podcasts with Olivia Mehaffey, Annabel Dimmock and LET rookie Ana Dawson. Those podcasts will be going live on our youtube and podcast platforms over the next few weeks.

We will be joined by Garry regularly throughout the year as we recap the amateur events during the season.

Jon Rahm has won The Masters and Jonny is delighted. We talk Rory's disappointment at Augusta, again. Who some of our standout performers were and why it was great having the LIV players back

The West of Ireland Championship is complete and conditions seemed brutal, so we ask why is this Championship so early in the season when the weather in Ireland is so unreliable?

The Irish Amateur season got underway last weekend with the Laytown Bettystown Scratch Cup. David competed and unfortunately it wasn't his greatest showing. The tournament was won by Richard Knightley who won in a playoff and will be using his winnings to buy a new car window!

The WGC is over and Sam Burns was crowned champion, but for us the two real winners were Jason Day and Rory Mcilroy!
