The Bogey Men

Stuart Grehan sat down with Jonny briefly at Lough Erne ahead of the EuroPro Tour Championships currently ongoing. Stuart spoke about the swing change and work he has been doing with David Ruddy to get him into this position as well as the validation and relief he felt after winning both the PGA at the K Club and on the EuroPro Tour after a 7 hole playoff.

Stuart currently sits in 7th place on the EuroPro Tour Order of Merit, just 2 spots off a Challenge Tour card, so this week is incredibly important for Stuart and there's no hiding that.

Tune in for more player interviews from the EuroPro Tour Championship.

Jonny & Dave sit down after the incredible week that was the KPMG Women's Irish Open. This was the first LET event that The Bogey Men have been media partners for & it means so much to us that The Bogey Men has grown into a media brand that is trusted and respected by the golf industry.

What an amazing week at Dromoland Castle, from Leona being in contention on the weekend, to a fantastic winner with Klara Spilkova after a dramatic playoff. The Ladies European Tour event had everything, from big names showing up early to even the weather co-operating. Well done to Eamonn and all the team at Dromoland as well as Cian and his team from Forefront Sports.

We have lots of video content from the week coming soon, as well as a trip to Northern Ireland planned so keep an eye on our youtube channel as well as the podcast!

The Bogey Men are Official Media Partners of the KPMG Women's Irish Open, our first Ladies European Tour event and we couldn't be more excited! We'll be on site all week, so if you see us, come over and say hi! We'll also have a competition soon ahead of the big event at Dromoland Castle.

Rory has won the PGA Tour Championship for the 3rd time, making history but as the prize funds in America increase, the players become more removed from us fans, is it time for the DP World Tour to make a move and merge with the LIV Tour?

Dave tells us about his experience playing 100 holes in a day all in a bid to raise money for Muscular Dystrophy Ireland. David was diagnosed with this condition himself in 2014 and so it is a cause very close to his heart. If you can support Dave in this mammoth endeavour, please do so via this link here!

Simon Delaney is an actor, television presenter and golf fanatic. Simon learnt golf from his dad, growing up in Dublin. But Simon didn't learn by playing, but rather by caddying.  Simon's dad taught Simon all about golf etiquette, and respect for the game, before his untimely death on the 17th hole at Ardee Golf Club, the story is, although sad, quite funny!

Simon grew up in the era of Seve and fell in love with the way the Spaniard played the game and what Seve brought to it. Simon distinctively remembers watching Seve put on a clinic in 1983 at Royal Dublin, before Seve went on to win the Irish Open.  It was a pleasure to have Simon on the podcast, we really appreciate his time and sharing these stories!

Thanks for listening to this episode of our new show, we hope you enjoyed it. If you did, please subscribe to our youtube channel!  If you have any thoughts or comments let us know and leave a review.
