In a continuation of our series of interviews with the women behind the brands participating in our American Herstory giveaway this month (and in this case, man), this week we're delighted to welcome Riley & John of Gunner & Lux to the podcast! Gunner & Lux is a lifestyle brand co-founded by nine year old Riley and her dad John featuring fun, stylish jewelry and statement apparel & accessories with empowering messages of positivity!
We chat with this creative duo about how Gunner & Lux started, their creative process, how Riley balances working on their business with school, friends, sports, and generally being a kid. She and John also weigh in on our recent Question of the Day post, and provide great recommendations for books, movies, and food. All in all, a true delight!
This week Matt & Meredith are joined by some very complicated and expensive new recording equipment that makes the podcast sound marginally better! They also read fans' Question of the Day answers, welcome a new team member into the fold, share some reviews (both good and bad), tease a new design, rant about annoying neighbors (both commercial and residential), and discuss their respective childhood bullies (among other things.)
This week we share TWO reviews: one about a hoodie, and one about this very podcast! We also wag our fingers at disinterested billboard hangers, inept vendors, and winemakers that are actively contributing to the downfall of society. Fun! We also bid adieu to dodgy audio quality before we delve into a wonderful conversation with fellow business owner Rachel Smith of Pride Socks to talk about how her business got started, what its mission is, and the impact her products have had on her customers. Super-stoked to have Pride Socks as co-sponsors of our American Herstory giveaway this month!

In honor of the anniversary of women's suffrage in the U.S. and our upcoming American Herstory giveaway, we're chatting with the founders of the other brands participating in the promotion throughout the month of August. And guess what? They're all women! First up is Dina Rodriguez, founder/owner of art & apparel brand Lettershoppe, where she showcases her very impressive hand-lettering and illustration skills on a variety of products! Dina also teaches hand-lettering, shares about her creative entrepreneurship, podcasts, and blogs through her Patreon page. We chat with Dina about trolls, her start as a freelancer, her journey to full-time self-employed artist/designer, and how being transparent and vulnerable can be a scary but powerful thing when trying to grow an online and IRL following & community. Plus she's super funny!
This week our intrepid hosts share THREE customer reviews, a BOATLOAD of Question of the Day comments, and discuss the inner workings of Boredwalk, including printer problems, email address typos, and old-ass minivans. You know — important life or death stuff.
Not really. They're t-shirts, not the cure for cancer! But we have some drinks and some fun, so come listen!
This week Matt & Meredith share THREE customer reviews and a BOAT-load of listener comments on our Question of the Day posts on Facebook & Instagram. We discuss our latest designs, our current giveaway promotion, and what happens when you let Chester Cheetah® loose near fried chicken. We also have some choice words for the simpletons that continue using the phrase "one month anniversary" even though that's not a thing that exists.

This week Matt & Meredith figure out how Boredwalk's landlord hires contractors! It involves a cat, a blindfold, and a twenty year old copy of the Yellow Pages. They also get fired up about art thieves and the terrible consumers that encourage them, read comments from this week's Question of the Day posts, share some customer reviews, shoutout to some friends, welcome a new team member to the ranks, and chat about the conundrum that is separating great art from problematic artists. Enjoy!

This week we're joined by producer, writer, and director Jason Richards! Jason is also the creator of social media sensation @Seinfeld2000, a massively popular Twitter account that imagines the modern world through a distinctly Seinfeldian lens. Which is timely, considering that we're celebrating the 30th anniversary of the series premier of Seinfeld!
In addition to @Seinfeld2000, we talk to Jason about his time more or less running things at MuchMusic, Canada's answer to the question "what if MTV & VH1 still showed music videos?", his tenure at comedy channel Super Deluxe, and his confusion regarding the polarizing effect of Hawaiian pizza (among other things.)
We also share a review and comments from this week's Question of the Day posts. Enjoy!

This week we share a customer review, recap our Question of the Day posts with some fan shoutouts, give our hot take of Night One of the Democratic primary debate, and call out a horrid social media troll. Is it petty? Very. Is it full of coarse language? You betcha! Was it satisfying? A little!

This week we share THREE customer reviews, get a lot of negative feedback from our cat Oliver, share LOTS of Question of the Day comments from listeners like you, and bid a fond farewell to another member of the Boredwalk team. *Sniff sniff*
