This week we share TWO reviews, read MANY Question of the Day responses, and have some choice words for candidates that are just not getting it done on the fashion front with their debate dress. We also address spurious claims from trolls that should really expand their horizons and get out a bit more, and weigh in on Gwyneth Paltrow's new vagina-scented candle grift. We also talk new designs/products coming your way, and why we don't recommend business ownership to anyone. Enjoy!
This week we discuss politics for a few minutes at the top of the episode, so if that's not your cup of tea, feel free to skip to 10:15 in the ep to avoid that. However, we also find time to defend the honor of other creative pros, share a very on-brand customer review, discuss some new shows we've been enjoying, tease tomorrow's new design, and read recent Question of the Day comments from listeners (presumably) just like you! Enjoy!
This week Matt goes off on a rant about bad marketing emails and Meredith is a great sport in allowing him to do so. We also share a customer review that details how one shrewd customer was able to parlay his Boredwalk gear into free coffee at Starbucks! We in no way played a role in the decision-making process of this beneficent barista, so your mileage may vary, but hey — it's worth a shot! (An espresso shot, that is!)
We also touch on 2020 plans for Boredwalk and read a ton of comments from recent Question of the Day posts, including a rundown of some of the worst holiday gifts received by commenters. Listen to see if we read yours!
This week we're joined by funny human Kevin Seccia to talk about writing for TV & movies, his journey as a creative professional in the entertainment industry, and why he hates Tom Hanks so much. He also weighs in on recent Question of the Day posts, and we do a deep dive into the nightmarish 50s game show Queen For A Day. It's...pretty gross. You'll love it!
This week we share a gross (but still 5-star!) review, read Question of the Day comments, have a not-very-hot take on the third impeachment of a POTUS in US history, and Matt rants about...something. That's kind of his thing. We also talk a bit about Boredwalk's 2020 goals, share a bit about our organizational structure, and generally try to bore what little goodwill listeners feel for us as hosts out of them with tee biz minutiae. You'll love it! Maybe.
This week we delight in some top-flight martinis, share an epic customer review, read some of your comments from Question of the Day posts, lament law enforcement officers that are scofflaws themselves, have some choice words for our haters, and marvel at the genius that is the SparkNotes Twitter account. We also celebrate the winning of our fastest round of office bingo yet!
This week we peel the curtain back about how businesses feel about Black Friday & Cyber Monday (hint: we hate them), share a review, discuss the mechanics and consequences of ghost humping, read your Question of the Day comments, and celebrate our inaugural (and quite possibly final) Instagram Live simulcast! It's potentially very limited edition.
This week we're dodging spectres, sharing Black Friday discount codes, and ranting about sloppy politicians and their dubious fashion choices. We also check in with Ann the property manager (don't worry, she's still the worst), share a customer review, and read comments from Question of the Day posts — maybe even yours!
This week we skip the politics entirely and instead dive in with some much-deserved customer shout outs, discuss our recent desert escapade, announce our newly-launched Boredwalk Ambassador program, and read our favorite comments from this week's Question of the Day posts! We also discuss ways fans can help Boredwalk outside of, y'know, buying stuff. And if you only tune in to hear us complain about our property manager, never fear — we've got plenty of that, too.
This week we discuss under-represented sub-genres of horror cinema, lament the dumpster fire of mismanagement that is Facebook, have some choice words for a particular art thief, and cross the aisle to dole out some kudos to a member of the (often dis-) respected political opposition. We also have new Tales From Terrible Property Management, read a swell customer review, and share some choice comments from this week's Questions of the Day. Enjoy!
