I often hear other women refer to a confident woman as bossy, cocky, bougie, over the top! When in most of the time she is the total opposite. She is in touch with herself and knows what she wants but there are some things about her that would catch you by surprise. She's usually the one taken advantage of. The one people never check on. The one people expect to never have a problem.
She is probably an Alpha and Alpha's have their challenges too. Let's talk about the characteristics of an Alpha female and why I am introducing her to the BossUp Community.
I have a shirt in my apparel line that reads "if I'm too much, go find less". This is definitely the shirt for an alpha female.
Hey Girl Hey! Well the holidays are here and many of us have a bittersweet relationship with them! Well okay I do. I love the holidays. The family gatherings. The laughter. The celebrations. Spending time with friends. The weather. I love it. BUT baby - some times it can be overwhelming and there can be TOO MANY things fighting for my attention. As an introvert I need that quiet time! I need time to recoup. I need time to whoo-sah! Can you relate? Well in this week's episode, I give you my 5 tips on how I tackle the holidays like a BOSS! Let's go.
Remember your happiness and peace are your responsibility. You MUST make them a priority or someone else will make theirs your priority.
Any time you make a decision to do something you have NEVER done it can bring about fear. So often as women we have been made to feel our fear is "wrong". That we have to push past our fears. I don't subscribe to that! Fear is a simple reminder that we are about to step out in a courageous way. It is a reminder that we are human. It is a reminder that we don't know everything. The problem is when our fears keep us from doing the things we REALLY want to do.
Join me as I share FIVE things I do to combat my own fears.
Once you have finished listening, take a moment and subscribe, comment which suggestion resonated with you and you are willing to implement and then take a screenshot and share on your social media platform. You never know who needs to be guided through their fears.
Until Next Time,
Tina
Doing the same thing expecting something different is the definition of insanity! So often, we as women put ourselves on the back burner. It's not that we don't know our worth, sometimes it's because we have been taught to put others first. There is NOTHING wrong with that until doing so keeps us from accomplishing our true desires. There comes a time when you have to be willing to let some stuff/people go so you can be who you were created to be.
This past weekend, I hosted the 8th Annual HELP Conference. This is event is know for providing tools and strategies for women to build a life they love instead of living a tolerated life. Although there were several nuggets dropped in the room one of my favorite nuggets was dropped by Dr. Joanna Barnett, "If nothing changes, nothing changes". I will share some more in upcoming episodes but for today.... I want to remind you, You are the catalyst that invokes change in your life. If you don't do what's necessary to change things - NOTHING WILL CHANGE and you will continue to live a life on somebody else's terms. And we ain't got time for THAT!
Have you created your personal mission statement yet? What are you waiting for? Get a copy of it here. So YOU can start get started building your NEW life!
We all have those things we wish we could change. Things we wish we could turn back the hands of time and they didn't happen at all. One thing I have learned, if all the bad things in life goes away the strength developed by going through them does as well.
But what do you do when what you know to be truth hurts more than the truth you want to believe to be true. Making a change in your life never promised to be easy in fact it can be quite hard.
Join me for this week's Monday motivation ... When you know better do better.
Your audible words have the power to bring to life anything you say. But your DOUBT can keep you from seeing it.
Did your words are prophetic? When you speak something out loud, your subconscious looks for proof and ways to make it a reality. So often we are speaking defeat over ourselves and we don't even know it. Make sure when you speak, you speak with authority. You speak into existence what you desire not what you don't want.
When I started this podcast I accepted an assignment to provide something that would build, bring hope and show love to every woman that came across it. I am my sister's keeper.
Have an amazing week!
It's time to go get what you want! The days of sitting around waiting for things to happen is over. Our world does not function in that manner any more. In my first book 'What You're Hiding Is Hindering Your Blessing", there is a whole chapter about leading a horse to water. The old saying is "you can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink". BUT if you lead a thirsty horse to water, it will drink on ITS OWN!
Are you thirsty for the things you want in life? Are you willing to step out of your comfort zone and pursue the things you want? Are you ready to get uncomfortable if it means you can have the thing you really desire? It's time to go get what you want.
No one is stopping you but you. It's time you do the "different" thing so you can have what you truly desire. Listen in to this week's episode. Drop a comment and let me know if you enjoy this type of content. I have a lot more.
This week's affirmation: My best is ahead of me. I step out of my comfort zone and embrace it with an open mind and a ready heart.
Let's Go!
Life can be hard! There will be times you want to give up. Throw in the towel. And say "To HELL with it all". Don't do it.
Whether you believe it or not, you are stronger than you think you are. You have the ability inside of you to conquer things you never thought you would have to experience. You just gotta believe! Easier said than done, right?
NO! You can do this. You can be everything you want to be. You can have everything you want to have. You can be the person you dream you could be. You can have the job you want. The relationship you desire. Make the impact you want. You can make it happen. YOU CAN DO THIS!
Listen in as Tina share some advice from her mentor that pushed her out of her own limiting beliefs and the desire to GIVE UP..
