Today, Bryant covers 4 major reasons you've been avoiding your physical fitness. The good news is that these challenges are not that hard to overcome if you adopt the proper mindset.
Here are the 4 areas you'll learn about today.
1. Your Mind making your fitness problem bigger than it is.
2. Biting off more than you can chew.
3. Eating foods and doing workouts that you actually enjoy.
4. Going to hard from the jump.
In today's episode, Bryant talks about the pain we all must endure if we want to succeed at anything in life.
We'll also discuss the silver lining of success. When you begin fighting for your dream, you will find that you are not alone in the fight. Other people just like you are struggling to push forward just as you are.
Too many people struggle with the idea of forgiveness. They think it's about absolving someone of guilt or reconciling with a person who's done something severely wrong.
It's not.
Forgiveness is about your personal healing. It's about you working through your own justified pain, anger, and resentment related to the injustice you encountered.
If you were done wrong, you are justified in feeling hurt, feeling anger, and feeling resentment. The problems start if you hold onto those emotions.
Forgiveness is about getting those emotions out of your heart and soul in a healthy way.
Forgiveness is selfish and that's exactly the way it should be.
The title taken from Jordan Peterson's book 12 Rules for Life pretty much says it all.
Bryant always talks about wanting to share his failures more than his successes because he believes it's a thousand times more helpful to know what to avoid.
By his own admission, this is Bryant's weakest area of his life. As a person who has always fought for others, he often forgets to fight for himself.
But as his mentor always tells him, you can't give away what you don't have.
In this Secret Book episode, Bryant explains how our brains work against us when we chase success.
We all struggle with very powerful biases that exist in our brains. In this episode we will cover:
1. Confirmation Bias - Looking only for information to support an existing belief.
2. Conviction Bias - Assuming something must be true since we believe it so strongly.
3. Appearance Bias - Believing we see the world as it really is.
4. Group Bias - Believing that we are ultimately unique and special.
5. Superiority Bias - Believing we are more rational and thus more superior than others.
Understanding all of the personas that make you who you are is vital to your success as a warrior leader.
To many of us try and pretend we don't have a dark side or we try to ignore it.
The best practice is to accept our dark sides, embrace them, and learn how to integrate them into our heroic personas.
In today's talk, bryant talks about how he does this in his own life and how you can follow suit.
He also provides an update about where he's been the last two weeks and what's going to happen next on social media.
enjoy.

Support the showThere is one common mistake most older people make when trying to make new friends.
Making friends based on common interest works well in adolescence, but not quite as well in adulthood.
Learn the key feature to look for in a new friend that will make it work and make it last.
Let's talk about why it is just as important to forgive yourself as it is to forgive others.
Self compassion needs to become just as, or even more important than self confidence and self esteem.
Just because you have failed does not make you a failure.
We don't call a child learning to walk a failure if he falls.
You have got to get into the habit of celebrating your small victories. Small victories add up to huge wins down the road if you know how to look at them.
Are you on a diet, but keep slipping up? Chances are you slip up less than you get it right. Focus on giving yourself props for the days you get it right. Then, when you slip, take note of why so you can address that same trigger later when it comes up again.
Many of you listening are winning more than you realize. Take notice. It's a must if you want to make it to the big win!
