Tom Boyle is the third Boyle brother to appear on the ButteCast. That, however, is not indicative of his importance.

Tom was a member of the Carroll College football team that won four straight NAIA national championships. He was also a stand out academically and in multiple sports at Butte Central.

On May 19, Tom will help put on the Burgman/Boyle cribbage tournament at the Knights of Columbus. Cost is $30 per player and lunch will be provided.

John Liebel, Lindsay Mulcahy and Jake Hanley were three of a handful of people who helped preserve the memory of the 58 men, three horses and dog who perished from the 1895 Great Butte Explosion.

Thanks in large part to John, Lindsay and Jake, a memorial now sits outside the Uptown Butte-Silver Bow Firehouse.
