In case you hadn’t heard, Austin City Council voted to ask you to pay more in property taxes in order to fund its $6.3 billion budget. The 5 cent increase per $100 valuation is set to bring in around $110 million. Yesterday, we dug into the case for the measure, known as Proposition Q.
