In 1990 26 year old Terri Schiavo collapsed at her home with her husband Michael Schiavo. Terri suffered cardiac arrest and her brain was without oxygen for several minutes and she was diagnosed as being in a Persistent Vegetative State with no chance of improvement. After four years of trying everything Michael wanted to grant Terri’s alleged wishes of removing her artificial life prolonging procedures. Her parents had other plans.
