After last week’s embarrassing Jack Nicholson debacle, in which Tom mistook an Onion photoshop of Jack spilling chili on himself at a Lakers game for a real photo, Brett books four chili all stars, including the heads of the two major international chili societies and the author of a series of chili cook-off murder mysteries, for a journey to redeem chili from the stain of the scandal, to restore Tom's self-confidence, and to return order to the universe.
