The Clay Edwards Show

Pred V Prey host Bryce Sawyer whom was in charge of the super viral video over the weekend that exposed a local finance manager (Hector Custode) at Fowler GMC in Pearl, Mississippi for being an alleged child sex predator. We have the exclusive first interview with Bryce where we will discuss all the important questions concerning this polarizing video.

We had the pleasure of Fowler GMC Co-General Manager Christy Ward calling into the show after the interview and explaining exactly what happened in the aftermath of the live video with Hector admitting to improper communication with a minor, how long before he was fired, etc. I truly appreciate Fowler stepping up and jumping in front of this thing first thing Monday morning.

1- We open the show with an official statement from Fowler GMC concerning the incident with a now former employee being busted for contact with a minor (see below for details).

Steven O'Neill and myself get to the meat and potatoes of why he's on the show today and that's to defend himself against the attacks brought forward by Jackson Mayor Chokwe Antar Lumumba and his media henchman Othor Cain calling him a racist and insinuating that he's in the KKK for having the audacity to question Lumumba and suggest that he is accountable for the chaos that happened at the st. paddy parade.

Steven tells us his history and connection with the city of Jackson as we build a foundation to explain how crazy it is for the Mayor & Othor Cain to attack him for speaking out and supporting another candidate.

Steven O'Neill tells us how he became so obsessed with bourbon and whiskey that it led him to eventually owning a restaurant that would end up being selected as the 67th out of 125 of the best whiskey bars in America. I learned a lot from this segment about single private barrels and more

Big show this morning: Steven O'Neill, owner of The Manship restaurant in Jackson, came on to discuss what it has been like running a business in Jackson for the last decade-plus and what he thinks about Mayor Chokwe Lumumba and his media representative Othor Cain attacking him for supporting another candidate. This show was an absolute banger. Steven is also an Iraq War vet and a Purple Heart recipient.

DISCUSSING THE KARMELO ANTHONY & CAPITOL POLICE CASES 7:07am - 9:00am He has quickly become one of the most in-demand criminal defense attorneys in Mississippi, and he has already successfully defended several high-profile murder suspects in the last year, as well as being one of the top former Hinds County assistant district attorneys for nearly a decade, who successfully obtained the last death penalty sentence in Hinds County. Shaun Yurtkuran will join me by phone this morning to have a serious, unbiased conversation about the Karmelo Anthony “self-defense” defense from both angles, as well as an honest conversation about why AG Lynn Fitch would prosecute the two Capitol Police officers in a case that MBI and internal affairs said were justified officer-involved shootings.

I opened the show this morning on a unplanned rant about Supertakes host doing vaccine PSA's, Trump losing 2020 being a good thing for America and more.

We covered the response from Ridgeland Police Chief Brian Myers over the viral traffic stop video that was first covered on the Clay Edwards Show Monday when the man who got pulled over called in and we gave 24 minutes to explain his side of the story. We used this as a opportunity to have an in-depth conversation about black youth and traffic stops as well as them taking accountability for what happens to them on these traffic stops.
