One of my favorite independent journalist in the state of Mississippi who also happens to be a free thinking black women, Mrs. Angela Buckner W/ the online media platform known as "MIC Magazine" joins me this morning and man did we hit some hot social / racial topics from all angles.

1- We covered the response from Ridgeland Police Chief Brian Myers over the viral traffic stop video that was first covered on the Clay Edwards Show Monday when the man who got pulled over called in and we gave 24 minutes to explain his side of the story. We used this as a opportunity to have an in-depth conversation about black youth and traffic stops as well as them taking accountability for what happens to them on these traffic stops.

3- We talked about the attack on masculinity and why so many so-called "men" bent the knee to the establishment and attacked men who kept it real

With all of our future rocket scientist, engineers & astronauts consistently getting locked up for murder and violent crimes we're never going to be able to get to Mars!!

2- Ranting about Jackson and the mayors race, I'm still not convinced the Horne is the man for the job but he's 1000% better suited than Chokwe and at lease deserves a chance to be the Democrat candidate where he'll face off against one of the 3 really strong independent candidates such as my close friend and mentor Kim Wade, Zack Servis or Rodney DePreist (who I continue to forget about)

2- A Disgraced former MHP trooper seems to have a hard time keeping my name out of her mouth and using my image for clicks on her social media (which is funny because other than having to discuss her firing I've always treated this person fairly), it's funny what people will do when they become desperate for attention. On a positive note I guess I've reached a level where this should be expected and not frowned upon, I just regret ever having her on my show or handling her firing with kid gloves instead of speaking on it how I truly felt. Lesson learned, never hold back and never take it easy on someone who wouldn't do the same for you.

3- AG Lynn Fitch has indicted several Capitol Police officers who had to shoot some bad guys in Jackson to defend themselves in what's clearly nothing more than a political stunt to pander to Democrats as she ramps up for a potential run at the Governors office in 2028. I will do everything in my power to prevent that from happening after what she's done to these officers. 

4- How are we ever going to get to Mars if we keep arresting all of our future rocket scientist, engineers and astronauts?

As luck would have it, when you have the most popular morning talk show in the state of Mississippi there's a good chance that someone you're talking about might be listening to the show and that's exactly what happened this morning when a man who was featured in a viral video from over the weekend that showed him being arrested by Ridgeland Police for what looked to be nothing more than him cussing them out calls in to give a detailed account from his perspective. While I still disagree with him I do however respect him for calling in, being respectful and keeping his cool well enough to have a conversation about a polarizing topic with someone like me.

Angela Buckner w/ 'Mic" magazine was live on the scene Friday morning at the Rankin County courthouse when a bus load of what I call "outside agitators" showed up armed and masked to protest in downtown Brandon, Mississippi at lunch time. This group ended up being members of the new Black Panther party, listen to exactly who they are and why they were there.

He's been blowing up the internet with his videos calling out the city of Jackson over the zoo and the potholes, now he comes on the Clay Edwards Show as we team up to expose the corruption going on in and around Jackson!!

I'm joined for the entire 2nd hour by Matthew Bishop where we break down the tariff's and why they're a good thing for American over the long haul.
