The Clay Edwards Show

Today's show was a throwback to one of my old school internet livestreams, we want down a bunch of rabbit holes this morning and hit a wide range of topics

We hit a ton of national & local national topics today

The state of Mississippi is having to step up to help save jxn again, again. This time with a massive, multi-agency crime fighting initiative known as "Operation Unity". Here is my reaction in live time to the press conference today with Gov. Tate Reeves, Hinds County Sheriff Tyree Jones, JPD Chief Joseph Wade, Captiol Police Chief Bo Lucky, DPS Commissioner Sean Tindell along with some other state agency heads and Jackson Mayor Chokwe Lumumba from the site of the viral drive-by shooting video that broke the internet late last week in North Jackson

We had Dr. Micah Walker W/ Men's Health of Mississippi in the studio for hour #1 discussing the benefits of testosterone replacement therapy, what exactly botox is and some great last minute gifts for him or her from Men's Health Of Mississippi. Yes ladies, they have a women's clinic too and they offer botox and much, much more.

We opened hour #2 with breaking news about a press conference today to announce a major initiative to fight crime in Jackson that include state and city leaders and law enforcement agencies. There will be a press conference at 2pm today in the parking lot of the closed Cracker Barrell restaurant at the Adkins / Beasley exit off I-55 in North Jackson, Gov. Tate Reeves & Jackson mayor Chokwe Lumumba

Rep Fred Shanks has put forth a bill that would outlaw squatted trucks that are squatted more than 4 inches in the state of Mississippi. We discuss the ups and downs of this bill, is it more government overreach into our lives or are the squatted trucks really a safety hazard?

I hit a ton of breaking news and went back over some stories from this mornings radio show. Listed below are some of the topics I hit on the livestream, what makes the livestream different than the radio show is the audience feedback in the comments (it's second to none)

1. JSU on lockdown because of man with gun walking around the city streets near the campus

2. JSU Sonic Boom performing at the super bowl halftime show

3. Chokwe announces that he is running for a 3rd term as JXN mayor

4. Bidenomics is failing and Joe Biden is bragging about it

5. Our southern border is a shit show and terrorist are coming across it

6. The Joel Osteen church shooter is confirmed to be a transgender

SUPER BOWL FALLOUT SHOW

I sat down with urban blogger Squirrel_World_TV out of Jackson, Mississippi for a full length, no-holds barred, uncensored interview. We hit all of questions and topics I've been hearing about from people since I started this platform, from why I talk about Jackson to the "are you a racist" question, we leave no stone unturned for a near 90 minutes podcast.
