Former Clemson tight end Ben Hall shares the remarkable story of how he quit his job in manufacturing to pursue a passion for making people happy by making desserts. After getting his start at home with just a stove and a tabletop mixer, Hall is now the proud owner of Big Ben's Desserts in Lyman, S.C. And his customers just can't get enough.

Roman Fry reminisces about his Clemson days and recalls a spring-break trip he and Nathan Bennett took to Panama City Beach. "We decided to join in this game called King of the Ring, where there was a circle and these guys who thought they were pretty tough throwing anybody who came inside the circle outside the circle. The next thing I know we're in there and we're taking on as many as we can, back-to-back. We stayed King of the Ring for five straight hours, no joke. Somehow we did it. A few beers were involved, actually a lot more than a few. Clemson's offensive line won the day there. I'm learning that the players now don't do as much of that, which might be a good thing."

And Dalton Freeman reflects on being a part of the transformation of Clemson football under Dabo Swinney from being a redshirt in 2008, to closing his college career with a pivotal bowl triumph over LSU in 2012.

The amazing story of Stanley Hunter, who as a 10-year-old had to deal with his mother being sentenced to 25 years in prison for selling drugs. It took a village to raise Hunter, including his grandparents and the communities of Duncan and Byrnes High School -- and then Clemson, where epilepsy cut short his football career but where he remained as a student coach. Hunter has recently bought his first house. In January, his mother is scheduled to be released from prison. And he can't wait to reunite with her.

Ricky Sapp joins the podcast to update on what he's been up to since his playing days, shares some of his favorite memories from Clemson and his recruitment, and gives his take on how far Dabo Swinney has taken the football program.

Former Clemson football players and current police officers, Durrell Barry and Chris Chancellor weigh in on their emotions of the past few weeks. Barry was on the front lines in Columbia recently as protestors set fire to police cars and inflicted other damage. "I'm almost speechless when it comes to certain things that have happened, because I never thought I'd be in the middle of something like that. It was eye-opening, man. It was scary. You have to keep it professional as a police officer. I would want to protest too, but I'm a law-enforcement officer. I understand why everybody is upset with law enforcement as a whole, but they have to understand that doesn't represent 99 percent of law enforcement."

Clemson men's soccer coach Mike Noonan joins the podcast and reveals that he asked for a sabbatical from coaching from February to July. Dan Radakovich granted his request to "do a lot of things with my family that have been neglected for 34 years." Former Clemson running back Javis Austin recounts the incredible story of his decision to take his own life in the midst of conflicts with coaches and deepening depression. After shooting himself in the head with a .38 caliber pistol in November of 1999, he stood up from his bed and asked himself: "Why am I not dead?" In the two decades since his miraculous survival, he has worked to educate and help others who struggle with mental-health issues.
