Today's episode is for all of my white friends and journeyers. Listen to it with an open heart, with an open mind. White friends, you have work to do. Are you ready? Welcome to your journey...
Today we will be journeying with Zaakirah Muhammad.
Zaakirah Muhammad is a cancer survivor, Sagittarius, World Traveler, and Brand Cultivating Strategist. She has a quiet yet colorful personality. She has traveled to ten countries and 20+ states. She is also a small businesswoman and has been a business owner for a few years now. She is passionate about helping minority-owned small businesses and nonprofits to grow and be consistent with their brand or business.
At 6 months old, a Camera Saved her Life. At 9 months old, she was taken into surgery to have her right eye removed due to a tumor that was detected by a photo her mother took. As a people person and an empath, she wants her legacy to include the fact that she was able to see the good in you, help you live your best life, which inspires you to step outside of your comfort zone.
This has been one of my favorite JourneyStories because I truly feel that we are on the same wavelength. I am so honored and humbled to be journeying with Zaakirah today. Let's get started.
This month is dedicated to your Journey. Each week we will delve into the imperfect journeys of everyday people. This week's journey is with Melissa DeClue.

When she is not being a wife or mom, Melissa wears many hats. During the weekday, She is a driven donor relations and stewardship fundraising professional. She also runs an online business, Re-wine.Refresh.Repeat. that focuses on skincare and beauty products. Most recently, she has entered into a joint venture and started an event management company. It is her goal, her dream, and her calling to help others live out the best version of themselves.

Hey hey Journeyers. Today's episode is an oldie but goodie. This re-release of Episode 10 titled YOU are important, YOU matter. I chose to reshare this episode today because I believe that this is a much needed reminder. Yes, our days may be busier than ever. Yes, we may have an entirely new routine. Yes, you may be juggling 50 million things. But take this episode as a reminder that no matter how tough things get, no matter how many hats you are wearing, no matter what YOU are important and YOU do matter. Happy journeying y'all.
Hey hey Journeyers. Today's episode is a rerelease. Episode 5 titled From Trying to Being is sure to resonate. Now if you happen to be sheltering in place at home right now with littles then you may be having nightmares about all the nursery rhymes that you hear each day. But in this episode, I chose to break down the classic childhood song Row Row Row Your Boat and apply it to our adult selves. So take it in. Listen to it on repeat and remember it's your boat, you are the captain, and your life can truly be your dream. Happy journeying y'all.

Let's talk about today's episode. I literally recorded it late last night. I have been going through a lot of emotions these past weeks. And I am just starting to truly acknowledge them and begin to work through them. So this episode is dedicated to that.
I am really excited to bring you today's episode. Today's guest is a true character. He brights joy and light to my life. He is the reason I do not get NEARLY enough sleep. He is my world.
