Happy Friday friends! Today's #freeflowfriday is an exploration of how the Summer Solstice is inspiring me to shine my light and how I have been feeling a shift of energy around this time. I also want to acknowledge that there is light and hope in dark times such as today, as Roe v Wade is overturned in America. We need to use our fire, our light, our voices to advocate for those folks who will be affected by this. Shine bright friends! Use this new energy to recharge, restore and get ready to bring the fire.

It's been a while friends! I'm back! I wanted to reconnect with you through an IG Live (which completely failed to upload) and share with you my experience working with the team at Lunch Inc. We went into CBC to work with their CBC Kids News team to inspire and spark their creativity. It was amazing! I left feeling so inspired myself that I had to get back into the podcasting space to share. I want to thank Amy Miranda and Nathan Jurevicius for inspiring me with their work and for encouraging me to create connections with others through my own work. Check out their profiles linked below. I hope you enjoy this topic! As always, let me know your thoughts!

This episode was also done as an IG Live if you would like to check it out on that platform. I was inspired to discuss this topic as it has been coming up during dance competitions (as a teacher and adjudicator). I have been really working hard over the past few years to be more mindful of my language and being more inclusive - especially as an educator and mentor. The biggest take away for me is that this is a practice. It is work. And it is important. Let me know your thoughts!
