“Who do you say that I am?” No human being ever will be faced with a more poignant question with such eternal ramifications than the one Jesus posed to His disciples. Never will there be another question that rivals its gravity and consequence. This Sunday, we will watch two more mini-movies depicting New Testament characters to help ponder and discuss this life changing question.

There is a question that Jesus asked his disciples—the most important question—one that resonates through history. A question that He asks each one of us: “Who Do You Say I Am?” Over the next three Sundays, we will use five mini-movies that depict a variety of New Testament characters as they attempt to answer this life changing question.

Our enemy, the devil, is very real. His desire is to bring every Christian as low as he can. Satan is persistent, cunning, and attacks in different ways every day. However, he can only devour you if you let him! In this episode, we will go over the weapons at our disposal and proven spiritual warfare strategies that will allow you to take the bite out of the enemy. Silencing the devil will give you the upper hand on Winning Everyday Battles.

We know that the battle belongs to the Lord, but we must not forget that we are the soldiers. As Christians, we are in a spiritual battle of some sort on a daily basis. In warfare, battles are fought on different fronts, for different reasons, and with varying degrees of intensity. The same is true in spiritual warfare. Our spiritual battles and warfare are real, so we need to educate ourselves on how the battles are fought and how they impact our lives on a daily basis. If we have the knowledge of how God equips us to fight, Winning Everyday Battles will be the norm for us.

In Philippians 2:25-29, Paul describes a man by the name of Epaphroditus as a brother, fellow worker, fellow soldier, messenger, and even a minister. These were glowing terms that Paul used for a man who is barely mentioned in the Bible. Paul went on to tell the church where Epaphroditus was from to hold him in “high regard.” Why did Paul say all of this about this man? Because he was one who did his best for God! This time we will cover four decisions that Epaphroditus made which allowed him to give his very best.

If you want your work to be blessed by God, then you need to exceed what is expected of you. No matter what you do, whether you’re a truck driver, an attorney, a cook, or a teacher, do more than merely the minimum. Don’t just “get by.” God wants you to go beyond the normal, and do your best for Him! Joins us this Sunday, as we begin a new sermon series, Doing Your Best for God.

February is relationship month at The Connection Church! And this Sunday, we will continue seeking to strengthen our relationships using the truth of God’s Word.Jesus laid down His life because He knew that it was going to change things. You can also willingly sacrifice knowing that it will change things. God never says in His Word that love was easy, but He did say it was worth it when He said, “love never fails.” Join us this weekend as we discover how Love Changes Everything.

February is relationship month at The Connection Church! Throughout this whole month, we will seek to strengthen our relationships using the truth of God’s Word.

We can’t control how others will act or how the world will act, but we can control how we act and how we will respond. By connecting our marital experience to our Christian faith, we can solidify our belief in God’s promises through the problems we face to the provisions that God will establish. We will begin this week by exposing The Myth Of Singleness. We live in a culture that confuses singleness as being alone. Because of this, many times being single carries a very negative connotation.
