In our continuing examination of Owning Your Relationships, this Sunday we will discuss the marriage relationship and the responsibilities before and after. Marriage was and is the creative work of God. It is unique in that it conveys the character of God to all of mankind. The love that is displayed in the marriage relationship reflects the love that God has for His church. Join us as we not only identify the responsibilities in the marriage but how to overcome the unique challenges of becoming one.

Think about your most precious memories. Do they involve things or people? The most important things in life aren’t things. The relationships you have with family, friends, and others are the most important and valuable. Relationships are important. We’re immersed in relationships 24/7 — at home, at work, at school, and everywhere in-between. In each relationship we encounter, we can present the best of ourselves or the worst. This Sunday, we will expose certain relationship pitfalls, learn how to overcome them, and show why Owning Your Relationships is the key to making every relationship great.

Over the next several weeks, we will be talking about the second part: staying connected with each other. We will explore the different type of relationships that we have and how to stay in unity in all of our relationships. As believers, when we have a healthy relationship with our church, our spouse, our family, and our boss, we have unity. Unity brings peace and agreement. Agreement brings the power necessary to advance the Kingdom of God. The enemy knows this and tries to break up our relationships. He is a thief that comes to steal, kill, and destroy. This Sunday, we will discover some of our enemy’s tactics so that we can be effective in Decimating Division.

When you gave your life over to Christ, He breathed His life into you and made all things new. He didn’t do it so you could simply feel better for a few days. God wants to be in relationship with you for the long term. But for your relationship with God to be fruitful and prosperous, you must stay connected to Him. You must set a new standard for your life and leave the past way of doing things behind. This Sunday, we will hear the next four keys to Staying Connected To God.

In any relationship, growth happens over time. This includes our relationship with God. God doesn’t expect you to be perfect and to know everything. He just wants you to keep moving forward, connected to Him. God wants to be a part of your everyday life. We should never cut Him out of any day! Confidence is vitally important to our success in life. If fact, it’s so important that without confidence we will not receive a great reward! (Hebrews 10:35) So how can we stay confident in every area of our lives? This Sunday, we will reveal the essential principle to having a Confidence That Never Wavers.

To destine is to determine something beforehand. Destiny is what God has preordained for your future, what He determined that you are on to earth to do. It is the inner purpose for your life. It is the real reason for breathing. To live in God's destiny for you is to live a life that is exciting, joyful, and fulfilling. Have you ever broken a promise? Maybe circumstances beyond your control caused you to miss the mark. The validity of a promise is dependent on the character and ability of the one who makes it. Living The Divine Life is dependent upon God’s promises, and the Bible is filled with them. The most important thing to remember is not how many promises there are, but the fact that He keeps every single one of them.

The average child hears the phrase, “you can’t do that,” 70,000 times by age 7. By the time they are 17 years old, they will have heard 180,000 “no’s.” Most people have been conditioned to fail to one degree or another. These statistics reveal one of the reasons why we need to work on and build our confidence. Confidence is so important that without it there will be no reward (Hebrews 10:35). The good news is that God has made a way for us to keep our confidence high which will enable us to live The Divine Life!
