It starts like any other Tuesday. Ten of them get flagged by CAPPS, the era's passenger screening system, before they even board. Flagged, and let through anyway. On February 26, 1993, Ramzi Yousef detonated a truck bomb in the parking garage beneath the North Tower, hoping to topple it sideways into the South Tower and kill a quarter of a million people at lunchtime.
