Annikah is a first time MAO titleholder and holds the title of Miss Duchesne County 2021 in Utah. Her Social Impact Initiative is Mental Health - It Matters. Annikah is a senior at Union High School in Roosevelt, Utah. She plans to use her scholarship money to continue her education at the University of Utah in the fall of 2022.

Alysa Goethe is Miss Greater Des Moines 2022 from Iowa! This is her third Miss title, but she has been competing for 11 years, beginning in the youth program and holding titles in the Outstanding Teen organization as well. Her social impact initiative is called Not Your Type: Advocating for Type One Diabetes which helps to educate others against misconceptions around type one diabetes and advocate for a cure. She is a senior music education major at Drake University in Des Moines, and has earned over $4,500 in scholarship from Miss Iowa! She was also a top ten finalist this year which earned me over $500 alone!

Elizabeth was crowned the very first Miss St. Lucie County on September 14, 2019 and due to the COVID-19 pandemic has served St. Lucie County for the past two years. She is a graduate of the University of South Florida with degrees in Criminology and Sociology and is currently pursuing a Masters of Nonprofit Administration degree from Louisiana State University. Her social impact initiative is “#Swab2Save: Expanding the National Marrow Registry” and through her advocacy she has registered over 5,000 new potential donors. Elizabeth recently accepted a position working for the National Marrow Donor Program as the Utah and Colorado Recruitment Coordinator. At Miss Florida 2021 she was awarded the Quality of Character Award, the Presidential Service Award, and was named a Social Impact Scholarship Finalist. During her time in the Miss America Organization Elizabeth has won $1,450 in scholarships!

As a military child, Karolyn Martin has lived all across the country, but North Carolina has always
been home. In fact, out of the 12 schools she attended in her travels, 3 of them were located in
the Old North State. While she did not grow up competing in the Miss America Organization,
Karolyn has always sought a way to be of influence and service to others.
As a child and teen, she struggled with her body image. As a titleholder, she has turned this
story into impact. Karolyn's social impact initiative, #SelfKare: Eat to Success, aims to teach the
community to eat in a way that fuels our minds and bodies to success while taking the focus off
of weight and appearance.

In August of 2019, she won her first local title of Miss Moore County. Since then she has spoken
to over 2,000 students about the importance of positive wellness, hosted a nationally attended
wellness summit, and sold almost 60 copies of her cookbook, The Self Kare Kitchen: Dorm
Meals for the Healthy College Student.

This summer (June 2021) She placed as 2nd Runner Up at her very first state competition. She
plans to continue her impact and pursue her dreams of becoming Miss North Carolina and Miss
America while growing her social impact initiative and the success of the Miss America
Scholarship Organization.

Karolyn is grateful for the opportunities the organization has afforded her including the over
$7,000 of scholarship she has earned allowing her to pay off one of her college loans in full at
the age of 21!

Karolyn Martin is a senior at Appalachian State Univerity’s Honors College in Boone, NC
studying communication and marketing. Following graduation, she hopes to pursue a JD/MBA
at a top institution.

Miss Seacoast, Maddy Hawkes, is a current Junior studying Elementary Education at Plymouth State University. With the Social Impact Initiative of the American Cancer Society, Maddy uses her platform to support patients and families alike, as well as promoting cancer education in public schools. As a ResearcHERS Ambassador for the American Cancer Society, Maddy fundraises for female-lead cancer research, and is also a member of the Rockingham County Relay for Life board. You can also find her as the President of the Reach1Teach1Love1 Peer Board advocating for mental health, or spending her time with the PSU Admissions team recruiting prospective students. This is her first title within the Miss America Organization and she is excited to be competing for the title of Miss New Hampshire in April of 2022.

Kate Clatterbuck is representing Danville, Virginia as Miss Danville Volunteer with the Miss Virginia Volunteer organization. Her platform, Powerful Voices, is an educational initiative in response to the inequality between male and female historical figures mentioned in Virginia’s standards of learning for history education. This August was Kate’s first time competing on the state level, earning 2nd runner up in the inaugural Miss Virginia Volunteer pageant. Kate received a total of $1,800 in scholarship from her 2nd runner up placement and as the recipient of the Social Impact Award. During her time as Miss Danville Volunteer, Kate has collected books focusing on women heroes for Danville school teachers, developed the She. Me. We. program in association with her platform, and hosted a women in STEM event at the Institute for Advanced Learning and Research. Kate is a senior at Roanoke College, majoring in Education Professional Studies and plans to attend law school after graduation to pursue a career in education law.

Callie Scherrey holds the title of Miss Arkansas Valley 2022. She is a nursing student at the University of Arkansas - Fort Smith and is excited to be receiving a debt - free education because of the Miss Arkansas Scholarship Organization. Callie was a Top 7 Finalist at the 2021 Miss Arkansas Competition and received the Overall Alpha Interview, Social Impact Statement / Onstage Question, and Evening Gown awards. Brooklyn Toli began has been involved in the Miss America Organization for nine years. She began her journey as a candidate in the Miss Massachusetts Outstanding Teen Program. As the current Miss South Coast, she promotes her social impact initiative Building Confidence Through Performing Arts by creating arts accessibility through volunteerism. In March of 2020, Brooklyn launched Sisters Support Success; an organization that empowers women on the path to their definition of success. Over the past 18 months, Sisters Support Success has collected hundreds of clothing articles to support women professionally. From gowns, to interview and performing arts wear, we work to bridge the socioeconomic gap of affordable professional attire. Brooklyn is currently working as a professional performer, dance educator, and as faculty at the Boston Conservatory at Berklee.

Vivian graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biopsychology, Cognition, and Neuroscience. She then continued her education and received her Master of Science in Pharmacology at Tulane University School of Medicine this past Spring. This fall, she started as a first-year Osteopathic Medical student hoping to become a pediatric oncologist. Her Social Impact Initiative is “Golden Warriors of Pediatric Cancer – Fight Like A Kid”, which provides support for childhood cancer patients, survivors, families, as well as fundraises for pediatric cancer research. 

Vivian is a classically trained pianist and loves to share her passion with others, especially through music therapy for pediatric patients. During her year of service, it is her goal to reach as many patients and survivors to make a positive impact during a tough time in their lives.
