Miryiam-Rose shares her personal journey in changing careers in her life and how she works with clients to complete the necessary steps to find the ideal position that allows them to follow their interests, passions, and natural skills and talents.

We talk about common myths and misconceptions that prevent people from entering the workforce or that keep them stuck in their current job. We talk about how women often undervalue the skills, abilities, and talents they bring to the table, which can hold them back from moving into positions they see as their dream job or professional goals. Myriam-Rose also shares how women who have been out of the workforce often see themselves as "less than" when in fact, the skills they have developed are transferable to the workplace.

This is an uplifting and motivational podcast with practical tips and ideas for anyone going through transitions in life, including career changes or getting back into the workforce.

    About the Guest:

Myriam-Rose Kohn is a multilingual career expert who had to go through two career transitions. I don't just do textbook theories in my program. I bring real-life experiences. In me, they have a confidante who has their best interest at heart. My vision: ensure my clients get paid for work they enjoy doing which leads to a harmonious and joyous life. The process consists of career exploration; resume, LinkedIn profile writings; how to ace interviews and salary negotiations, how to conduct a job search; personal and digital branding. • Mindset Is The Most Important Factor In Improving Fitness And Healthy Habits

In today's episode, Sartre Jean-Gilles helps us understand the different options in fitness training, including online fitness training and fitness behavior change coaching. We discuss how fitness is a holistic lifestyle change that can dramatically change our wellness approaches for a healthier set of lifelong habits. Sartre offers highly effective solutions for women on the go without spending hours in the gym (or even going to the gym at all!)

This is also a practical interview where Sartre focuses on what is achievable and realistic now and how comparing ourselves to our previous weight or body shape derails even the best plans. There is an insight into why crash diets don't work and how overall healthy weight loss is the only permanent and sustainable option – and it doesn't need to include calorie counting, hours at the gym, or eliminating your favorite foods.

The discussion moves into the differences in options that women (and men) have with regard to fitness training, kinesiology, and fitness behavior change. Sartre then shares some ideas on how important it is to know your WHYs and VALUES around getting healthy, losing weight, or becoming more active as a true lifestyle change. He also shares the importance of the correct type of exercise, which includes strength training for women, at least twice a week to maintain lean tissue that burns fat (and doesn't bulk you up!).

    About the Guest:

Sartre Jean-Gilles is an online personal fitness coach, who is passionate about working with busy home-based (female) entrepreneurs to form healthy habits and improve their overall fitness. Sartre supports your individual weight loss goals without you having to give up your favourite foods or spend a lot of time exercising. Sartre graduated from the University of Ottawa with a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Human Kinetics, and from the University of British Columbia with a Master's of Health Administration. He has worked in various healthcare-related settings, including rehab clinics, hospitals, and his own online fitness training and behaviour change coaching enterprise.

  • Everyone Has 5 Minutes For Self-Care

On today's episode, Dr. Peggy Gleason discusses how she discovered the importance of self-care and learning healthy habits to prevent burnout. Her experience as a critical care nurse led her to study how other cultures and countries help address this issue.

  • Parenting Can Be Hard – But There Is Help!

On today's episode, parenting coach Jaci Finneman shares her expertise on managing our kids and how we can turn real-life struggles into opportunities to be competent leaders that our kids need us to be. We talk about how parents can continue to be confident and build their skills to help their children to have leadership in the family, even in challenging times.

We focus on how to determine your role as a parent and how to use the resources available to correct problems and regain your confidence. This is a practical, effective, and authentic conversation that helps parents spot potential mistakes and how we can tweak a few behaviors to help our children.

Jaci also talks about the role of parents as coaches for kids in their teen years. She highlights how "overparenting" or continuing to parent a teen as if they were a young child causes problems for both parents and the teens.

    About the Guest:

Jaci Finneman (pronounced Jackie) is passionate about teaching parents to become Confident Leaders for their kids. She began her career in 1991 as a paraprofessional serving the needs of children with developmental disabilities. She went on to join a local non-profit agency that supported children with mental health diagnosis. Jaci was an In-Home Family Counselor and Program Coordinator for 20 years.

With over 40,000 hours of experience coaching parents and kids she founded Hello World, LLC in 2013 – a company dedicated to teaching parents how to become the Confident Leader their Kids Crave you to Be!

In 2019 she created the Becoming a No-Problem Parent™ Community and in 2021 she launched The No-Problem Parenting Podcast. Jaci is a connector and resourcer! Don't know what you need to help your child? Jaci will show you how to get to the root of the problem and help you find a solution.

1 of 100 first cousins, Jaci enjoys all things baseball, hockey, gardening - and dirt; the muddier the trail or path in life, the better the reward. She and her husband Eric of 25 years live in Central Minnesota with their teenage son Andrew.
