Necromunda: Hired Gun is a Warhammer 40k (and Necromunda) based first person shooter developed by Streum On Studio and published by Focus Home Interactive. It was released June 1st 2021 for PS4 and 5, Xbox One as well as Series X/S, and Mircosoft Windows. For this review we played the Steam version.
We scored Necromunda: Hired Gun a 2.5/10 and could not recommend this to anyone that isn't on a watch list or an ardent Warhammer 40k fan. Those are the same things. I should know, I'm on a watch list.
Also, after some fine Googling, I have learned that Kal Jericho is in fact an already existing character with graphic novels and minis. Nobody tell Incitatus, that's what he's getting for Christmas.
So does this movie. It has Rasputin...but so did World Heroes. Now I have confused myself. It's a comfy World War 1 watch. Check it out. Hit the episode afterwards and let us know HOW FRIGGIN' RIGHT WE ARE!
Caligula, Miss Ellanea, Alchemia, and Vi discuss the intricacies and implications of the James Webb telescope, Chinese rockets impacting the moon, curious quirks of the English language, books (both the making of and the enjoyment of), and some hilarious, if repugnant, horrorstories from Dada days past– including the eagerly unanticipated Legend of the Vomitpurse(!!)– and we get some news on the much awaited 2022 Dada Death Pool entries.
We watched this hateful, hateful movie. It's rough. We called Dark Silence better. Shout out to Dark Silence. They the real ones. Don't see this movie, it's not work your time.
Judy Greer is a babe, though.
For once our shows name is untrue, this is a highly watchable movie and I love it. It's got Nic Cage. It's got a pig. It rules. Really, go watch it. It's our third highest rated movie of all time.
I'm glad I got through this episode without having a Dunkirk argument. Y'all pray for me.
They really need to stop.
Also, if you're watching Gotham block me.
We watched the Netflix joint Texas Chainsaw Massacre. It was pretty dumb but it was short, like my ex. Unlike my ex, I enjoyed my time spent with this movie. Hit the episode to find out why.
Sarah Yarkin is in this movie. She's a total babe. Go check out her other movies, her tunes, etc. It's all under her name.
Also, this movie has throwing chainsaws and that makes me happy. 5e stats are as follows;
Throwing
Chainsaw
Uncommon 2d8 slashing 13 lb. Heavy, two-handed, thrownA large metal saw carried with two hands, that's good for sawing. A chainsaw runs for two hours on a full tank of ½ gallon of gasoline. A chainsaw that's not turned on only counts as an improvised greatclub.
This isn't one of those weird sex-pervert Harry Potter shows so if my lore is off blame Grumpkins, she's the Potterperson. We do have Ron on the trap beat, though. What other podcast can say that?
This space is reserved for talking about the movie but I don't want to because this movie sucks.
