Higher Education Minister, Naledi Pandor, says she expects students at all institutions of higher learning to be in their lecture rooms today. Pandor met with all presidents of student representative councils in Pretoria over the weekend. This follows several protests at institutions of higher learning last week leading to suspension of classes in some institutions. Last week the Minister called on students' organisations to focus on real concerns and make every effort to resolve problems without disrupting the academic programme.
