The Dark Corners Podcast

This week, Rae gives us another volume of her mini series! In this installment, Rae discusses whether or not imaginary friends are just that, or maybe even possibly more? Are imaginary friends ghosts? Or perhaps echoes of something else from the other side? Are there connections between child development and psychic ability? All that and more will be discussed today! We hope the science nerds in all of you will be pleased with this one!

On the evening of October 21st, 2009, the small community of St. Martins, Missouri was thrust into panic when a 9 year old girl named Elizabeth Olten vanished after leaving her home to play with her neighbor. The Local authorities as well as the entire community of St. Martin’s wasted NO time in trying to find baby Elizabeth. And over the course of a few days, as well as a series of extremely disturbing discoveries which include pre dug graves in the woods, as well as a personal diary entry that was written by Elizabeth’s 15 year old neighbor, the horrific truth of what happened to Elizabeth would come to light. Buckle in for this one guys SHOW NOTES

We are back! And not only are we back, but we are back with the biggest episode we’ve ever dropped! This is the first time we’ve ever worked alongside a family to tell their story. During our 3 hour special, we will be talking about 24 year old Haley Cheney. Haley was found shot in her car at her boyfriend’s residence on December 3rd, 2023. The circumstances surrounding Haley’s death are very suspicious, but sadly, no proper investigation was done for Haley. Her death was immediately ruled as a suicide, and her case was closed. We want to use our platform to spread word of her story! Hopefully this will result in enough attention to re open Haley’s case. Her family has been fighting for justice, and at this time, the Little Elm Police PD has denied all efforts. We need your help! #justiceforhaleycheney

This week, Gage gives us his 4th installment of the cryptids and creatures series. For this one, we’ll be talking about the Goat Man demon that’s said to haunt The Old Alton Bridge in rural Texas! This one is pretty spooky you guys!

Rae’s coverage into the Candyman murders comes to a conclusion with this installment. Last week In Part 1, we discussed the shooting of 33 year old Dean Arnold Corll by his teenage accomplice, 17 year old Elmer Wayne Henley. We went through Dean’s early years, as well as his disturbing descent into absolute depravity. Dean’s methods of torture were sexually sadistic, shockingly evil, and more than cruel. This week in part 2, we will be further detailing the horrific extent of Dean’s crimes, as well as talking more about the great lengths that Dean would go to in order to groom and murder his young victims. Thanks for listening!
