December 28, 2023 A Monster Amongst The Trees: Leaf Killer Matthew John Hoffman Part 1
On November 10th, 2010, Tina Herrmann (32), her two kids, Sarah (13) and Kody (11), as well as Tina’s best friend Stephanie Sprang (41), all disappeared seeming out of nowhere in Apple Valley, Ohio. These disappearances would lead police directly to a monster named Matthew Hoffman. He was a real weirdo who had a thing for trees and leaves. The crimes he committed would later be named “The Hollow Tree Murders”.
Join us this week as Gage starts telling us about one of the most unusually brutal and sadistic homicide cases that Ohio had ever seen.
In part 1, we will be learning about everyone involved, and we will also be going through the actual murders. Next week’s episode will be the conclusion of this case!

December 21, 2023 Sacrificed To The Devil: The Savage Murder Of Elyse Pahler
Have you ever seen the movie “Jennifer’s Body”? Did you know that it’s loosely based off of an actual crime? That’s what Rae is telling us about this week.
In the year 1995, 15 year old Elyse Pahler was living her life. She was very bright, and adventurous, and she loved her parents and her siblings very deeply. She was a high school student trying to find where she belonged. As most teenagers do, Elyse got in with the wrong crowd. This group of bad apples consisted of Jacob Delashmutt, Joseph Fiorella, and Royce Casey. These three teens had a rocky reputation, and a shared dream of playing in a famous death metal band together. The idea they had for fame, however, may shock you. If you guessed lots of practice and dedication, you’d be wrong! They decided they had to both sacrifice, and mutilate a virgin in the name of Satan. In exchange for the ability to play better death metal music. Elyse disappeared from her home in Arroyo Grande, CA on July 22nd, 1995. Her remains were found almost 9 months later in a eucalyptus grove near her home. The truth of what happened to Elyse was far more evil and brutal than anyone could have ever imagined. December 14, 2023 Children Who Kill Children: Eric Smith
On August 2nd, 1993, in the small community of Savona, New York, a 4 year old boy was brutally murdered while walking to a park. This 4 year old boy was Derrick Robie, and he would be found within hours of being reported as missing. Derrick’s body was found lying in a wooded area not far from his home. He was bludgeoned to death with rocks.
This crime is shocking enough as it is, but what makes this crime even more shocking is the fact that it was committed by a 13 year old kid who lived in the neighborhood.
His name : Eric Smith.

December 07, 2023 The Bowraville Murders
This week, Rae will be telling us the very heartbreaking story of Australia’s longest standing serial killer case. The Bowraville Murders. Between September of 1990, and February of 1991, 3 aboriginal children disappeared in the small town of Bowraville.
Something to know about Bowraville, is that it’s unfortunately plagued by racism targeted at the aboriginal community. Even today, the racism is alive and well.
This story is extremely tragic, and one of the most enraging things about it, is that racism is what fueled the police to do absolutely nothing about these murders. Even when all evidence pointed towards a suspect, a man named Jay Heart, he was ultimately allowed to go free. Escaping any and all charges from the 3 beautiful lives that he took. Today, decades later, these beautiful families are still fighting as hard as they can for justice. This one will absolutely leave an impression on you! Thanks for listening you guys

November 30, 2023 A True Teenage Psychopath: The Disturbing Case of Daniel Marsh
On April 13th, 2013, the community of Davis, California would witness the most brutally savage double murders it had ever seen. Claudia Maupin (76), and her husband Oliver “Chip” Northup (87) were both brutally stabbed to death and mutilated in their own home. These murders left police clueless. Forensically, the murders were executed shockingly well. Leaving little to no traces of evidence behind.
Even more shocking than the crimes is the fact that they were committed by a 15 year old boy named Daniel Marsh. He had been fantasizing about both torturing, and killing people since he was 10 years old. This one is pretty rough you guys. Buckle in!

October 26, 2023 The Russian Sleep Experiment
For this week’s episode, Rae is telling us about one of the most popular, yet scary internet urban legends out there. The Russian Sleep Experiment! This horrific tale was originally posted online on Aug 10, 2010 by an anonymous user that goes by the alias “Orange Soda”.
As the story goes, Russian researchers in the late 1940’s kept five political prisoners as test subjects, where each of them was forced to stay awake for fifteen days using an experimental gas based stimulant.
They were all kept in a sealed environment to carefully monitor their oxygen intake, and they were left with enough food to last them all over a month.
After the 5th day, the experiment takes a horrifying turn for the worse. The subjects went completely insane. Continuous screaming, extreme self mutilation, and even brutal cannibalism unfolded amongst the prisoners as the days passed. Buckle in! And thanks for listening!
