The Dark Ride

This week on a picnickity episode of ‘The Dark Ride’ we drink all aboard an incredibly special first... it took them 90 years to get one, but the mice finally got a ride! So join us as we get the mouse traps ready, lay out our best checkered blanket and bottle of Rose’ cause its picnic time.  Can you imagine a world where Goofy was able to get a train conductor's license, what is happening over at Amtrak? Will Adriane and Ryan make it out of this 2 ½ D cartoon hellscape, there is only one way to find out!

This week on an all new episode of Drunk Distory presents ‘The Dark Ride’ we put our best NASA gear on to dine amongst the stars. That's right, its our very first full restaurant experience. Adriane and Ryan got the reservation that everyone is going galactic gaga over and were here to spill the cosmic chamomile all about our experience at Space 220. We talk at length about the goods, the bads, and the tang drinks that are available orbiting 220 miles above EPCOT's world discovery.  But will this shiny new space station wow, or will it be a nebula not again for our intrepid hosts. There's  only one way to find out!   

Today we head back to the simulated saloon, sip down a couple of beers and wax poetic about all things theme parks. This week we are very excited to be joined by a special guest, Ryan Novelline; Fantastical Concept Artist, Avant Garde Fashion Designer, and all-around awesome guy, who one time interned for Disney Imagineering! Ryan also recently moved to Central Florida and gives us his opinion on that age old question – does living nearby ruin the magic?  Then we all share war stories of times hotels done did us dirty.  Join the team to hear about the times we didn’t have the best experiences at theme park resorts, because sometimes even magic can’t kill a huge cockroach! Get your H2O+ suds and oversized white gloves ready, cause its about to get soapier than uncle Orville on the fourth of July.  We will share with you all about this past year and how awesome its been and then take a look at what theme parks have in store for us in the twenty deuce deuce. So whether these best laid plans end up fact or fictions we cover all the things that we are looking forward to in the year to come. We will also fill you in on some of the big things in store for the podcast this next year so make sure to stay to the end for that. Most of all we thank you our listeners for such an epic year. Join Adriane and Ryan as they mingle and jingle their way through their favorite central Florida theme parks and share with you all the deets of the recent holiday trip. This episode will start with a pre trip thoughts section and then through the magic of the time warp, we will hear all about the post trip wrap up. It's so much fun we will need the defunct spirit of the tomorrowland timekeeper to capture all this holiday vacation cheer. So will the best laid schemes o' mice an' men work out wonderfully for our dynamic duo, or will this skyliner get stuck mid way through its round trip. There’s only one way to find out!
