In this "must-listen" episode of The Dave Carter Show, Dave talks with writer, firearms expert, and author Kevin Creighton about his newly published novel, "Salvation." Mr. Creighton goes into vivid detail with us, describing how the book weaves the story of retired Army Ranger and bodyguard John Rogers, a man who prefers the quiet life but is drawn back in a darker reality when he's asked to employ his skills to safeguard more gentle souls on a mission of mercy. Author Kevin Creighton employs is extensive knowledge not only of firearms, but of special operations skillsets and tactics. As Dave described it, "This book is like Tom Clancy meets the New Testament." Written in a first person narrarative that sees every detail through keen eyes of John Rogers, the book grabs the reader's attention from the first page all the way through to the edge-of-your-seat conclusion.  Spend a half hour with Dave and Mr. Creighton, and you'll come away with insights on the human condition, elite military operators, and the quest for redemption.  Oh yes, and as is the case with every episode of The Dave Carter Show, there are laughs aplenty as well.

  • Dr. Stanley Ridgley; "DEI Exposed"
This episode marks Dave's debut on Rumble with a full audio/video presentation.  To mark the occasional, Dave had the honor of hosting and interviewing Dr. Stanley Ridgley about his brand new book, "DEI Exposed; How The Biggest Con Of The Century Almost Toppled Higher Education."

Professor Ridgley's book is meticulously sourced to the tune of 599 footnotes, copious original source documentation, and more information than could possibly be contained in a single interview.  As Dave said, "It's like trying to extract a singe teaspoon of water from Niagra Falls." As the conversation unfolds, we are learn of everything about the academic ecosystem that allows fraudsters to gain a veneer of academic credibility with which to wreck higher education from within. The book also contains the practical implications of DEI, including the story of Oceangate, whose CEO advertised that 50 year-old submarine veterans need not apply in the construction and operation of the Titan submarine, which was to explore the Titanic on the ocean floor - the result being that sub imploded some 12,500 feet down into the Atlantic, killing the four occupants instantly.

It's a fascinating conversation in a fascinating new chapter of The Dave Carter Show!

  • Childbirth Educator & Podcaster Katherine Stephens on the Needs of Expectant Moms
In this politics-free episode of the show, Dave invites podcaster and Certified Childbirth Educator & Coach, Katherine Stephens onto the program to discuss all things maternal. As fate would have it, Katherine is Dave's neice, but most importantly she is a devoted mom to her five children, which has helped her become something of an authority on childbirth, both of the natural and Cesarian variety.  Her website, made4birth.com, offers a wealth of information for expectant moms on what to anticipate  before, during, and after the birth of a child, as does her rapidly growing podcast, "Made for Birth, the VBAC Podcast for Birth After Cesarian" (heard on Apple Podcast, Amazon Podcast, Podcast Republic, and Audible, among other platforms.

Katherine's own experience has ignited a heartfelt passion to support moms navigate the birth experience, prompting her to become a Cerfied Doula in order to provide moms with continual emotional, physical, and informational support.  She is also a Certified Birth and Newborn Photographer. As Katherine's website explains, "Your experience matters. You were made for birth. Walk through it with confidence."

And guys, there is some much-needed information for you in this episode as well, as Katherine goes into detail about Post Partum Depression, her own experience, and what you can do to help your spouse through the process.

Finally, Dave addresses the show's addition of nonpolitical topics to the already brimming list of political and cultural topics he addresses.  It doesn't have to be either/or, so look a touch of variety to the program in addition a video and live-stream dimension coming soon. • A Conversation with Ricochet's Dr. Bastiat
In this episode, Dave sits down with Ricochet's own Dr. Bastiat for free-wheeling discussion on everything from why progressives insist on loudly advocating for policies that don't work (e.g., a lack of border enforcement, lack of adequate policing, a revolving door justice system, anemic defense foreign policy that invites aggression, etc). Is the Democrat party really anti-American? Dr. Bastiat also explains why Joe Biden may actually have been the most successful in history.

Along the way, Dave discusses the left's currently meltdown over President Trump's rapid deportation of violent illegals from American soil. Getting a bit spun up, Dave doesn't stop until he's calling for at least some of these predators to be shipped to Pope Francis himself!  It's a fast-paced episode, and a rivetting conversation between Dave and Dr. Bastiat.  This is one you won't want to miss. • "Does DEI Require Starving Our Troops?"
In light of the Senate Comfirmation Hearing for Pete Hegseth to be the next Secretary of Defense, it's a perfect time for Dave to talk with fellow vetern and American Thinker writer Mike McDaniel about his recent column, "Does DEI Require Starving Our Troops?" Mr. McDaniel discusses the severe shortage of food for the enlisted force at places such as Fort Hood (currently known as Fort Cavasos), a 335 square mile installation consisting of over 200,000 personnel, where only two of the base's 10 chow halls were open daily during the summer months. This required over an hour's trip by troops just to get lunch during the duty day.  Meanwhile, at Fort Carson, one soldier posted a photo of his dinner at the chow hall, which consisted of a single serving of lima beans and a half-piece of toast.

As Mr. McDaniel and Dave both observed, this is what happens when limited resources and manhours are spent on "boutique causes" like DEI training and the infusion of Critical Race Theory throughout the Armed Forces rather than maintaining the military's focus on the core mission of being the most effective and lethal fighting force on the planet. This is a conversation you don't want to miss.

This episode all features some thoughts on the dumpster fires that the outgoing Biden administration is lighting for the American people on their way out the door. Oh yes, and Dave is a tad giddy over some new devlopments (artwork, music, a new microphone and upcoming improvements) for the podcast, ...and he won't stop talking about them. Don't say you weren't warned...

It's a heartwarming podcast that also includes a touch of mischief before concluding with a rather poignant essay Dave wrote on Christmas Eve 2011, from the cab of his 18 wheeler at a truck stop on a distant highway. Laughs, poetic memories and an homage to the meaning of Christmas make episode well worth listening to. Merry Christmas!
