Carolina Panthers head coach Matt Rhule announced to the media on Monday that Cam Newton would take the majority of the first-team reps in practice this week as the Panthers get set to host the Washington Football Team in Ron Rivera's return to Charlotte.

Ron Rivera makes his homecoming on Sunday afternoon to Bank of America. Joining him will be former Panthers quarterbacks Taylor Heinicke and Kyle Allen, who Rivera also coached in Carolina.
